I learn something from these guys about every time I come to the forum, it's a great place isn't it!
I'm fairly new here. All say is that it's a great thing to be able to learn so much from members with a sh** load of experience. This is the place that taught me most about building coils using RDAs. People are always there to give insight, however it comes. I have a Sapor V2 25mm coming in the mail today and the way I'm doing to build on it today is definitely not a .15 build :):)

In a Sapor, you absolutely NEED dual stapled fused alien claptons helix dragon stovetops twisted with 20 gauge. If you do it right, it should come out to about .004 ohms. That should be fine on a single 18650 as long as it's regulated. Shoot for about 340 watts for a nice warm vape.

After reading most of the replies in this thread, I decided to take out my 24 gauge kanthal instead of the 22 gauge. On my Hatty I just got, I build a .38 ohm 8 wraps dual & I have it at 50 watts. The flavor & especially vapor production is amazing. On top of this all I get a nice & cool vape. I can say I learnt something.
Yay! Double YAY for taking the time to edumacate yourself :D
We really don't wanna read about ya in the news :)

I believe that the Sapor V2 25mm comes with exotic wire that is a new field for me. I'm gonna learn it though over time.

:offtopic:but it seems relative so I'll post here.
Why do mods have a voltage cap?
It only seems to encourage people to build lower with no noticeable benefits below a certain point.

I have been here a while and should know but It doesn't concern me in terms of experience so I'm just wondering.
Easy answer I'm sure. Sorry...

Mech's don't have one but regulated Mod's do and the reason is safety so the batteries don't exceed their safe amp output.

I always thought it was to prevent the user from becoming one of these.

ROFL, should make a mime out of that; "your brain on high wattage"

Most mods don't actually cap the voltage, they do it by capping both the resistance and the amperage , or wattage and amperage..

Trouble is, you need to switch the tip to something more performing, like this:

18 gauge .001 ohm, 5 coils, 100mm inside diameter at many many watts would look like this:):):)

Obviously one doesn't need that low build on a regulated mod for large vapor production. So there are many things that factor in to one getting a large cloud on say a .35 build. Please excuse my ignorance but I am wondering if one were to take an RDA and put the .35 build into the 22mm Sapor V2 and then put the same build into a 25mm Sapor V2 with both airflow options open with both 60 watts. Would the one with the 25mm get a bigger cloud, saying that the size of the RDA factors in for vapor production?
