*Some flavors in the recipe have V1 or V2 versions. I have used both in various iterations to make this one. I haven't noticed a significant difference either way. YMMV...

**Contains Acetoin and Acetyl Propionyl (There is a DX version available, but I have not tried it.)

I was curious about the new One Stop Blend RJ4, too, but there's no description for it. So other than it being a blend (ready to mix with just PG, VG, & Nic base), and the TFA RY4Double being a single flavoring (maybe needing other flavorings to mix with it)...I wondered how they're different. I emailed Kimberly to ask what the difference is between the 2, and she said the RJ4 is just alittle creamier. Thought I'd post it in case anyone else wondered.

I asked mainly for the neighbor who is beginning to learn DIY and likes tobaccos, but also like creamier eliquids. The RJ4 might just suit him perfectly, especially since it's a One Stop Blend!

I just tested this in my goon again, it has been steeping for nearly a month and I am loving it. Much tastier than the RY4 Asian tester I made around the same time.

What percentage did you mix it at? Just curious for a starting point. Thanks!

9%

Here is the suggested range from the recipe site:

Percentages in recipes
Average mixing quantity: 10.2% (Median: 10%)
Minimum used quantity: 7%
Maximum used quantity: 13%

What ratio did you mix it at?

I did it at 9% which was the median mixing quantity I found on the recipe site. I am going to let it steep for a while to see how it goes but I could see increasing that a bit more to 10 or a little higher. I did RY4 Double at 10% standalone (but feel like it could go a bit higher) and the RY4 Asian I mixed up in a tester the other day I did at 9% and am having the same feelings about. I will probably try all 3 of them at 11 or 12% next time I mix them up.

........

between here and there
buttery lemon cotton candy

1% (FA) Coco' (coconut)
0.2% Candy cotton CAP
5% Lemon Cake (INAWERA)

Flavor total: 6.2%
fwi,, FA coconut tastes like butter to me.. so others would likely use a butter flavor instead of coconut
Coconut is one of those flavors that require a long steep. Sometimes over a month.

:)

made up 1440ml between 7 different recipes for myself (+some others for a friend I am not counting) in the steep cabinet (that should get me thru new years I hope) this weekend, and 4 new 20 ml testers. I still have a bunch more testers to try in my calculator and a couple 220ml batches on deck (RF Apple Pie and Aged Bourbon Cream) but I will try to wait a week or two to start staggering my larger steeping batches finally.

going thru vg a lot faster now that I went from 50vg to 70vg (almost used 1gal of VG so far) so the next glycube I order will be a 3x1 instead of a 2x2. Also running low on pipettes I use for my non drip top flavors and having to wash and recycle them so time for another amazon order,....

my plans in the new year is to make up large batches of just the flavors so i can just pull out what i need to mix with the neat (vg+pg)

right now i mix up a few batches of 500mls at a time.. been piffing off flavors i dont use/like. trying to get my mixing down to a years worth(5 or 6 perfected flavors) mixed in an hour.
