I have been using the Darwin by Evolv for a while now and I love it. It is my first VV device. Before this I used the eGo-T. What I loved about the eGo-T was that I could just fill a tank in the morning and it lasts me all day or even next day. So I ordered some 510-T. First two just started to taste like ..... (not sure if it is burnt taste but like wet nasty towel) after 10 puffs or so. First one I started with low wattage and gradually moved it up. Second one I kept it at low wattage and same results. I am now looking for some kind of tank mod that would work great with the Darwin. Does the MAP tank work? I don't mind if I have to unscrew to power off. That is better than filling a carto every few puffs. I'm not sure if it has a 510 to 510 adapter on my device but on the brass switch there is a silver 510 connection. When switched on, it sticks up above the device so I think I can attach a MAP Tank if the MAP Tank has 510 connection. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated and it doesn't have to be MAP Tank. THANKS!

Hey and congrats on the Darwin! The best thing about the Darwin is that everything works amazingly on it. I have a map tank, liquinator, storm, and vpx tank I'm picking up tomorrow. If you're not worried about it closing, then just have fun it all works great! I like the new carto tanks, less of a pain then ce2's in my opinion. Since you're in Canada, you should try a vpx from happy vaper to get started.

As for the toasted cartos, you're doing the right thing by starting low, but you should move to higher resistance atties/cartos, and make sure you keep them wet. The Darwin will crank out more pure power then any other mod I've ever tried so far, and you'll notice a difference in the potency of your juice, and how fast you go through it at higher wattage.

You have some reading to do lol, good luck! Almost anything you could possibly want to know is in the Darwin thread!

Thanks for responses. I think I will order from Happy Vaper as they always have great products/service. I was looking at the VPX tank and was about to order but realized that they require cartomizers. I seem to burn through cartomizers really fast now with high voltage device. Or it could be that I didn't consistently juice them enough, although I reminded myself to do so. And these predrilled cartos are $5 per one. That is expensive! Plus I am not capable or do I want to drill these myself. Then I saw Juice Feeder mod by Super-T. It looks pretty promising. Although it could cost me more initially, maybe it will save me money in the long run by using atomizers instead of burning through $5 cartomizers? However after trying out the 510-T on my Darwin which was just FAIL, I don't want to spend another $100+ purchase that just doesn't work. Please any advice?

You don't have to drill the cartos, you can pick up a cartomizer jig here Jig & Punch for Cartos Extremely easy to use if you have a hammer or any hard object. Then you can grab 15 cartos for less than $20 shipped at Crystalclearvaping.com...so you don't have to feel bad burning through them. BTW, I use a carto tank on my Provari...and it extends the life of my carto's due to the fact that it keeps the coils and the filler constantly wet.

Oh okay, so the cartos last longer in a tank mod. That's good news. I think I can find something sharp and hammer to make my own punctured cartos, I saw some youtube vids on it and it seems simple enough even for me lol. But I still can't believe you can get 15 cartos for under $20. I've been paying $13 for 5 cartos from Canadian retailer. I should just order from US.. lol
