Okay, I was looking for the Asmart Poldiac clone, but found out that if you drop it the threads on top break off real easy, so I don't want that. I want a 1:1 Poldiac clone, and the next one I find myself looking at is the Davapes clone. I'm wondering if anyone has one and what do you think of it? Does it work right out of the box? Any issues with it? Did you have to do any work on it?

Uh... yeah I also found out you can't sub-ohm with the original Poldiac. WTH???

Why on earth would anyone make a MECH that will not do sub-ohm???

What on earth could they possibly be thinking? Especially at the price of a flippin Poldiac?

I thought this was a great high end mech mod, until I found that out. I guess if you use a higher ohm atty it can work for you, but I don't, so I just can't use what MM Vapors is selling. Seems like maybe they spent the extra money on lawyers they needed to go after anyone who cloned it. I think they should have just made it sub-ohm capable from the start.

All the new poldiacs come with upgraded internals , special plastic pk, so they are good to go now.

Well after that I'm not buying anything from MM Vapors. C'mon, a $250-$300 mech that won't do sub-ohm? I'm sorry, but I have no use for that kind of business model.

That actually have a great following of happy customers as well as arguably the best customer service in the industry. Check I'm not my sure but I think anything you buy from them will sub ohm, it's not crazy to think they won't advertise sub ohm for fear of liability issues. I along with many wouldn't hesitate about doing business with MMV.

I don't have so much money that I'll gamble on them. After what a trusted vendor told me about their hardware and all the 1:1 clones of it I ordered something else. I'm sure there are those who do like their stuff, but I'm betting they aren't sub-ohm vapers. I'm not going to risk that kind of money on something that's going to fail on me.

I have two of the real Poldiacs and I sub ohm vape on them all the time with NO problems at all. The first Poldiacs (V1) made were only good down to 1 ohm. MMVapors then came out with the V2 Poldiac that had the high temp plastics in the switch housing and is capable of sub ohm vaping. They now only offer the original V1 with the high temp plastics also. So now all Poldiacs sold are capable of sub ohms.
Anyone having one of the first built Poldiacs can purchase the high temp plastics to upgrade to sub ohms.
Also all Poldiacs now have Rhodium coating over silver coated brass contacts which give great conductivity and very seldom need cleaning.
MMV offers every part of the Poldiac for sale in their spare parts dept. You can buy the individual parts and build your own Poldiac if you wanted. I know of no other manufacturer who does that.
MMV has the best customer service I have ever found in the ecig market.
They also have a new bottom switch mod called the Nanos and it is very short. I have one of these on the way from Greece at the present time and is to be delivered to me on Monday.
I guess you can say I am a big fan of MMVapors.

Poldiac V1 owner here... they sub ohm just fine. Now I'm not a SUPER sub-ohmer.. but at .5 ohm, mine has held up just fine... just sayin. MM Vapors is legit and their CS is absolutely fantastic. I also have a Nanos enroute. But for what its worth, I don't think Sub Ohming was all that big when the V1 was released... and they've updated parts to keep up with things as times changed. One thing i'm super impressed with is making their Poldiac parts interchangeable with Nanos set ups. Gotta love that!
