Hey guys,
Wanted to share my first experience building a micro-coil for my David (Protank head version).
Used 28g kanthal, boiled organic cotton, and butane pencil torch, and some tweezers.
Here are the results...
Un-torched coil:

Coil squeezed in tweezers:

Coil after torching (see how much tighter it is..):

Testing coil:

Pretty happy so far... no burnt or metallic taste at any voltage up to 4.8 volts, however my Cinnamon Roll juice seems more flavorful at lower voltages.
My Vamo isn't here yet so I can't check the resistance, though it should be around 1.8 ohm. It's 12 wraps of 28g, wrapped onto a micro screwdriver.
Took me 3 tries to get a coil compressed enough to fit into the coil head without shorting, but I finally got it.
It's got a noticeably warmer vape to it over a stock Protank/EVOD coil.
I encourage people to give it a try. Not too hard and pretty fun!
