I've been a peep on this forum for a little while, doing the usual research/ education/ You Tube thing. 1.5 PAD for 20+ yrs and never tried to quit. I decided to go with a Provari V2.5 starter kit and a vivi nova V3. ETA 7-8 days, so I ran down to Electronic Stix this afternoon and grabbed a Kanger starter kit - 20 bucks. Still have a 1/2 carton in the beer fridge JIC. My daughter (11) is really excited about me quitting and to be honest, I am too. I'm all in baby!

Congratulations. My kids smoked for about two years before they discovered vaping about six months ago. I'm so excited about their quitting tobacco that I'm thinking of opening a store to introduce vaping to the hipsters in DC.

Estix was PACKED today (Sunday in Utah, crazy), they were sold out of just about everything. I bet you would do really well to set up shop with no competition...

Welcome Duner !
I think you are going to do great.
Remember to drink PLENTY of water...PG/VG will dry you out and you want to flush all of those toxins out of your system.
I think that with the toxins gone...it makes the transition easier too.

Also, vape first thing in the AM, and before you think you need to. You are training your brain that you will not deprive it of the nic it needs...if you allow it to receive the nic via vaping instead of smoking. Give your brain no reason to freak out on you with a nic fit.

Wishing you: All The Best !

Had to add one more tip...
In vaping, you absorb the nic through the soft tissues of the mouth and nose...
not the deep lung small blood vessels in smoking.
So, as Zurd says...inhale through the mouth... exhale through the mouth and nose....
no need to deep lung it...in fact- not desireable.

Vape On !

Thanks for the info!
