yeah day 11 and still sorta want that real cig . . . i hope that i dont backslide but i wont smack myself too much :) doing well sallana's helping me too :)

It's been over a year since I've had a cig and I still sometimes want one. My hubby still smokes and once in awhile I catch myself looking at his pack and thinking, well, one won't hurt. Then I realize that yeah, one will hurt and I break out a little higher mg than I usually vape and the urge will go away.

You are doing great! Not everyone can pick up an ecig and immediately quit. It didn't happen like that for me and a lot of people on here. Hang in there!

thanx! well. i honestly think the price hike had ALOT to do with it. i'm very poor. so i had to do something else. or travel south to another state to buy cigs, and even that seems too expensive after the ease of vaping. i love all you people do for new vapers here . i think its great. i just hope that cig companies dont shut this alternative down before it actually catches on and becomes a safer, better alternative to many more. or worse, tax our flavors and take control of our dosages. i love the freedom this gives. am definately buying more supplies soon and will keep trading here, thanx for the moral support you people are so fantastic!

well sallana got me my passthrough, which helps ALOT. now i can sit and vape all day at my puter! which....is my favorite past time (G rated anyway) . she also brought me 555 to try....which i found nutty flavored and ok, but my favorite so far seems to be a 10mg mix of tobacco called "high voltage" . i tend to like the bland flavors or no flavor at all actually. so i think on the 1st i'm going to just order myself a big bottle of PG and strait up nicotine and try mixing my own strengths . does anyone know if these things go "bad" or spoil? eventually? because if i can stockpile them up i will, but not if they can spoil....ect.

They say it has a 2 year shelf life but I never could find anyone that had 2 year old liquid to verify it. I know I have some that is a year old and it's still fine. Just keep it in a cool, dark place and it should keep just fine.

My husband still smokes, too, although not nearly as much as I used to. And I will catch myself thinking the exact same thing every once in a while. Although I did have 2 last weekend and they were gross, I don't even know why I had the second one. Probably because I was at a concert, drinking, and standing outside waiting for the next band to come on.

Hrm. My friend who smokes was down for the weekend and I had a drag of one of her filterless Pall Malls. I coughed and choked and tried to spit the taste out but it didn't work. I think I'm good on cigs. I just don't want one.

Yeah, I just felt dirty the rest of the night and could definitely taste it on my breath.

It's weird like getting out of the shower, all nice and clean, putting some perfume on and smelling nice for a change instead of having to cover the smoke smell with more perfume!

Lol, I used to try to cover the smell with perfume too. I'm sure I was way overdoing it. There is a perfume I used to always wear when my husband and I started dating. I had put it away for a while and then wore it again after we got married. He made a comment that the smell of my perfume and cigarettes brought him back to those days. I had always thought the perfume masked the smell! Now I no longer stink and just a spritz or two of perfume does the job.

I used to use perfume like air freshener... hahahahaha. I was actually staying at a friends house who didn't smoke back when I smoked like 2 packs a day. Everytime I'd come inside from smoking he would say "Ugh, go spray yourself." I had some vanilla body splash that always seemed to cover the smell. that's the secret apparently... Vanilla.

lmao at the smiley!

Sallena, your stuff is headed your way, maybe it will help get rid of the mad smiley.

It will. I hadn't gotten a PIF package in days and days so I think maybe I was having withdrawal. But I got a whopping THREE today so I feel better. =D
