DCT has burnt tatse

Helloo everyone.

Today i just received some accessories and juices.
Excited i filled up my 3.5ML Colored 510 DCT (Dual Coil Tank) Cartomizer MOD(1.5ohm from HC and went ahead to vape.

My set-up is the DCT on ego-t manual 1000mah batt fully charged. Brand new DCT and juice was applied.

What i was greeted with was a burnt grape tatse(grape ejuice). It taste real bad. i tried to vape a couple more times but the burnt taste just wont go away. Now, should i throw the cart away or is there a way to revive things? Maybe i did something wrong which i was unaware of or the coils have burnt due to lack of juice?(carts too dry) Does anyone here has such experiences.

Any advise will be greatly appreciated. I've checked youtube and this forum but could not find decent info. It appears some of you guys have puched a bigger hole onto the cart. Must this be done to improve the saturation of juice into the carts? Pls help...

Suck without activating to prime the carto. Then vape as per normal.

I would actually let the carto sit for a while like 15mins or so after filling just to make sure the juice takes up all the spaces in the fillers. I think you started vaping too soon and burnt the fillers... once its burnt its impossible to rid of the bad taste... the residue of the burnt fillers tend to cling onto the coils.

I would suggest get a new carto and try again, the juice takes a while to sit but before vaping add a few drops into the carto to wet it a bit.

change another carto, drip again and wait for 15 mins before vaping.

i use a syringe and pump in the juice to make sure i fill every part of the carto polyfiller in them then fill my tank and vape straight away. np.

good post, I have had the same problem with one I ordered from Totally Wicked UK. I may give this a go and let you know how it goes. Good to see it was not only me with the burnt taste problems.

Actually the grape flavor itself will get burn taste easily..tested,tasted and proven by me and my vaping kaki.
