DCT Made Just for Ego?

EGO DCT Tank System

It's basically just a a DCT with a replaceable carto and all, just has Ego style bottom threading. It's made by SmokTech.




Has anyone tried this? Is it as functional and reliable as a regular DCT?



I doubt anyone with an APV would buy this over a regular DCT due to the need for an adapter, but at lower resistance it could be great for people who use Ego style batteries.

My only concern is that it seems to take a special sized cartomizer. Having a hard time finding size info on replacements.

I'm thinking we'll start seeing start kits coming with these soon.

I use these on KGO batteries with Boge 2.0 carto's as my work setup. They work well and will keep buying them. A lot of vendors are just now starting to carry them and I'm sure the price will start coming down. So far litecigusa has the best price.

I have one as well, works the same as any other carto tank except smaller. 1 fill lasts me most the day and I am a heavy vaper. I am pretty sure any 510 dc tank carto will work in these though the standard size (shorter) is what comes with it

Oh cool so they can use the standard size carto. I imagine the XL's would just protrude a bit more at the mouthpiece end.

I love my provari and regular DCTs are perfectly suited for them. But I'm still amazed at, with a little knowledge, and proper care and maintenance, the quality of vape you can still get off the Ego family of batteries and products.

Heck I still once in a while put my old Ego C atomizer and mini-tank on my provari when I want to see what a juice is really supposed to taste like. With the tiny little mesh wicks in their atomizers, it's like the closest thing you can get to straight dripping with less hassle.

Anyway, I love the no fuss no hassle aspect of DCTs. So I was thinking when the 1000mah Ego twist batteries come out slap a couple of these on them, and I'd be nice and mobile with a decent vape. Good for work, shopping, or whenever I'm driving around to wherever.

Of course I'd still use the Provari at home. I'd probably save it for my "special juices" to unwind or whatever after a days work.

Come to think of it, that would make one heck of a starter kit.

Heck you could push some mean watts with that setup.

I'd feel good giving a setup like that to a friend or family member (or talking them into buying it) to help them quit. Many of these other startup kits, I wouldn't feel as good. Knowing of all the fuss and hassle, and as many things there are to go wrong with some of them.

I guess where I'm trying to get is the most idiot proof starter kit imaginable.

I'd buy that kit for anyone. I'd price it closer to $90 to $100 though, which would still be a good deal for what you get.

I don't get how you can say it's idiot proof. I suppose it's relative, but filling the carto tanks I don't find to be the easiest thing to do in the world given that it requires a syringe. Maybe you can school me on a better way to do it.

I just got one from Vermillion River. And for some reason I find them _a lot_ tastier than the non eGo DCT carts. I have no idea why. Vermillion is such a badass vendor for flavors though, so it's a great place to get juice and buy some ego DCTs.
