DCT with the SB / Silver bullet

Ive had my SB for a while now and its going great, however I thought id try out a DCT that just arrived yesterday. Ive had to use a bit of folded up aluminum foil to get the contacts contacting.
is there a better idea for the contacts because I'm worried about the foil shorting/arcing across.

Also the carto heats up so much the metal drip tip i have even gets hot!!!
I know that if you draw to hard it spit hot liquid on your tongue, however if you draw softly no vapor....

I'm sure the answer to this problem would be a nice round, flat piece of stainless steel with a ring of insulation around it.
any ideas?

also do they still make the kick? Its never been in stock and Ive had my bullet for at least 3 weeks now...

Just take a bent paperclip and wiggle the post around a little in the carto. This is a common problem, it's just stuck in the o-ring in the carto base.

And, get that damn foil out of there before you short out a bat!

Can't help you with when the next batch of Kicks will be released, and you never see them listed as in stock for more than a couple of hours.

Once I discovered single coil 1.7 ohm smoktecs I never went back. Not a fan of the boges though, couldn't get my 100% vg juices to wick well in them. They do seem to have a better build quality on the center post though.

With DC cartos I'd have to take a 5-8sec draw to get a satisfactory vape. IMO your gonna need a VV to really get the best out of them. Even the kick doesn't like them.

BTW the kick rules in the SB. Get yourself a sleeve to rock it with the 18650s. Consistent voltage til the battery is dead is what really sold me on it, plus the added protection.

im second thinking bout getting a kick cuz u have to get a sleeve as well so its like $50 all up
it wouldn't actually increase my wattage/heat of the coil would it?

Thinking bout using a small stainless ball bearing to get contact as it would sit nicely in the "cup" of the cartomizers 510 connection.

You are playing with fire with things like the ball bearing, get your head out where the sun can shine on it!

I have the kick (with sleeve) on my SB. Right now the kick is set just below 8 watts, and I have a 3ohm atty on it. It measures out right at 5v. And yes high drain batteries are rechargeable. They are LiMn (safe chemistry) instead of Li Ion.

Use a paper clip W a bend at the end to pull/pry the center connector out a little bit. You can also use a 510 to 510 extension.

how can u get 5v out of a 3.7v battery?
I managed to pull the connector out a bit but i still get very little vape and a lot of hot liquid spiting on my tounge and teeth. gaaaaaahhhh!!!

mayby its because its dual coil and needs more power to run it?
or mayby its the liquid? (killa vanilla from altsmoke)

It all works fine on a boge carto (single coil)
