Bought 2 rba heads 1 for the smok procolor and 1 for the mag kit. There was fire and smoke when the press fit positive post came loose mid vape. Thankfully I was outside and my son's instruction on proper technique for the hand grenade toss came into play! The mag kit shorted as well but the mod survived maybe, it takes several tries to get it going after a battery change now. The kicker is smok is blaming me for user error! I won't be buying more smok hardware. So the thinning has begun after only 3 months.

Durability is a question for me, thoughts on a
good box?

Get something with a DNA board in it.

If you only need 75W or less one of these should work:

This one uses the new DNA 75 Color board, and can use either a 26650 or 18650 battery.
Blowout: HCigar VT75C DNA 75C Box Mod $70.99 & Free Shipping - Cheap Vaping Deals

This one uses the DNA 75C as well and single 18650, 20700, OR 21700 battery.
Lost Vape Mirage 75W DNA 75C Box Mod | Vaping Devices

One more DNA 75C single battery mod:
The Rebel Mod - Evolv DNA 75C (Single 2x700)

For dual batteries with the same board:

HCigar VT 75D
or
Lost Vape Therion
or
Lost Vape Paranormal.

If you need more than 75W then try one of these:

HCigar VT 250S (This can actually be used in either 2 or 3 battery configuration)
or
ThinkVape Finder 250C

I'm a big fan of Lost Vape for their build quality and the excellent DNA chip. If you want something that won't cost you so much, I've been liking the looks of the Geekvape Aegis Legend. The Vaporesso Polar is looking pretty good too, and you can run mesh coils in the tank. The Wismec RX Gen3 Dual looks pretty good. I have the original RX Gen3 three battery mod and it's great.

If you want a great mod without the DNA price try one of Smoant’s offerings. The Smoant Cylon is a great mod that does power and TC very effectively. It’s built well and is only $40-$50 depending on where you get it.

If you want a good mod that is the most durable go with an Aegis or Legend mod. Both can take anything you throw at them and you can throw them. Good luck and keep your smok mods for outdoor use only;)

I was using the 2 boxes I had at 70 watts so either of those that you posted would do it.

Worth a mention...some are having screen issues with the Aegis Legend. Believe @bigbob2322 is one of them.
Ya I remember that thread or at least the comments, so that would be an iffy choice to me. There is a local vender here that has 6 of the aegis single battery mods and can't move them for $75 a piece. And he wonders why, really dude?!

Haven't heard much but good about the OG Aegis and you can buy a cap to use a 2x700 battery. For me the size and shape is awkward.
