I'm having a hard time finding a juice that vapes well in my ego tank. They claim it "mutes" a lot of juices, but it actually makes them taste like burnt atty! No, it's not my taste buds because these juices taste fine in my 510 & 808 & yes, the tank is sitting right on the atty. Any suggestions? I usually vape wintergreen & coffee. Thanks!

My husband and I never could use the Ego-T. We HATED it. Used it off and on for over a month and it never got better. Tried all kinds of juices in it, cleaned it, etc. We finally caved and started using the 510 atty's. We don't use a cone, but you could get one.

Best of luck to you.

Oh my, well I hope I have better luck because I just ordered two Ego Tank atties and a 1000mah batt. It sounds like a few ppl have had really bad experiences with the Tank and I pray I am not one of them. I love my 510 cartos and don't mind direct dripping with my 510 atties, but I want to try everything so that I end up with the best PV for my vaping taste .... also just ordered a Bloog Max Fusion with 480mah batt, so if the Tank sucks, at least I will have my new Bloog to comfort me :D

I love the egoT type A system and have no plans to change to anything else. I have used this for 2-1/2 months and issues have been minor. Burned atty taste has happened a couple of times but generally has meant atty is past using or I am doing something wrong. I just read that they now have an egoT type C which means the wick part is removable to replace instead of replacing the entire atty. Will also make it easier to change flavors instead of having one atty per flavor.

I just read on here that some are replacing their wick easily for a minimal cost- I just prefer not to do that at this point.

As for juice, I always read that lighter is better for our ego tanks. Virgin Vapors juice is amazing and well worth the extra $$- though they do not last as long due to the purity, I assume. I also love MarBro light from MyFreedomSmokes and these two vendors are my only ones right now- everything about them is awesome.

I love the Type Bs. I mix all my liquids at 70/30, and I think that's the ticket. Also, check out Cignot Vicky Ego-t wick adjustment videos on youtube. I find (for some odd reason) that the low res atties need to be adjusted/dry-burned more often than the regular ones (but they vape so much better if you're using a standard eGo battery).

Any more than 30% VG causes problems, and the wick has to be adjusted properly... Flavors don't seem to make any difference...

Feel free to pm me if I can help. I love the eGo-t, and it's about all I use (though I use it on a vv battery). Unfortunately, all this stuff needs some kind of adjustment to work perfectly...

I finally tried the LR atty but it was a much harder draw. Could this be due to the awesome 1100 battery I use?

My juice from VV is VG but she thins a bit for the egoT. The only issue I have with that amazing juice is not lasting as long- I assumed it's due to the organic nature. So VV is a bit of a splurge but so worth it.

I just ordered my first type B and am curious to try it, tho they were out of stock for the B tanks and I need to find some of those first. Since leaking is major if the tank gets below half, if B type holds more, then it will be nice to have.

Am I hijacking the thread to talk about eGo-Ts? I know we were talking about juice for it, but I don't think the OP's problem was juice... Feel free to remove if necessary...

@mpage - I don't know why, but some eGo-t atties draw harder than others. I don't think it's a matter of low res or normal res, I think there's just some variability. Don't let that discourage you. Also, definitely try the Type-Bs as soon as possible, it's just a better vape. Dunno why, as mechanically they're the same.

Make sure you get tanks that have the rubber/silicone caps, or buy some extra silicone caps and replace the plastic ones. This helps with the leaking. Wick adjustment (see previous post in this thread) will help with leaking. If the wick is too low, it leaks. If the wick is too high, you get dry hits.

Finally, the liquid may be burning faster than others BECAUSE it's been thinned. Most likely she's using distilled water to thin it, which (educated guess) likely atomizes faster and adds nothing to the vape (other than making it wick properly). I experimented with this some, but found that a good 70/30 properly mixed is the way to go for me. Straight (aqueous) VG just doesn't have the throat hit I'm looking for...

I'm very interested in this Type C you were talking about. The wick is adjustable in the Bs, but it's not intended by the manufacturer, and it's vital to making them work properly. It's easy enough to replace a wick in the Bs, if you happen to be able to get a fresh one... I'm not interested in trying to make my own. Never had any luck with such endeavors...

Hope that helps... It took me about three months to find my perfect blend of vape. You have to weigh what you want against what you're willing to tinker with, because all of it requires SOME tinkering. Looks like you might be getting close to that! I spend about an hour and a half on the weekend filling tanks, adjusting wicks, mixing liquids, and such. The rest of the week it's pretty straightforward... just charging batteries and changing already filled tanks. BUT IT'S SO WORTH IT!!!!
