Well here is my first tube mod. It is powered by a 17670 battery , all mechanical bottom button,510 connector,turned brass top and bottom caps , steel body with a gun blue finish . Please feel free to tell me what you think .

Ok . First off bluing will only work on steel for the most part. There is also cold bluing and hot bluing . It is an acid base and really just forms a corrosion layer . It in no way protects from corrosion. You must keep it oiled or waxed at all times . I see it time and time again , someone will put their shotgun away with out wiping it down and 6 months there is a rust spot that is a perfect match to a thumb print . The acids in your fingers will corrode metal . . To stop that this piece has also been coated with a clear epoxy coating that is baked at 350degrees for about a hour. You can get cold bluing at any gun shop and it will work just be advised with out coating over it or taking care of it you aren't doing yourself any favors. Thank you for all the kind comments .
