I'm thinking either of
Smoktech SID VV/VW MOD [05-C-4-3] - $30.00 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail
or
$37.21 INNOKIN iTaste SVD Telescoping Variable Voltage Electronic Cigarette Battery Compartment at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
or
$32.18 Vamo V3 Brass E-Cigarette Battery Compartment - with extension part at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

So many options, so little time.
I'd love a provari, but it's too steep, and I think I want a VW as well as a VV (I have ctwists now)

I use pro-tanks, and I think it would look good on top of any of them.
Just wish they were available in blue

Welcome , but out of your list , I would skip the SVD , and maybe even the Vamo . The SID has been getting some decent reviews lately .And as for the Provari , it's only VV , and it's overpriced . I know a lot of people swear by them , but I'm not one of them . Had a V1 , as well as a V2 . Found out the warranty wasn't as good as they claim . And now , mostly into mechanicals and RBA's . I guess I like the tinkering aspect of those . Good Luck on your decision . Oh , maybe even look at the sigelei V3 , or V5 Sigelei Z-max . I have several , never had a problem .

I looked at the ZMAX, but I prefer the look if the SID over that. I'm leaning towards that one, and almost pulled the trigger on it last night. $30.00 is a great price, but it also looks like it's a long ship, so I was hoping to find someone domestic with one in stock. It's worth about 1.00 a day not to wait :p

rounding third and heading home...
gotta second the sigelei suggestion- I have the sigelei telescope v3 flattop and have run it HARD for 5-6 months and it keeps on cranking. ANY battery configuration you want without extra tubes to mess with(just an extra battery cap) and any clearo, carto, or tank on top looks and works fine. brushed stainless steel without a squeak or rattle it feels substantial. you can get a full kit (batteries ,charger, etc .)for $60-$70. you may get different but you won't get better for the price. later on, when the madness strikes, you can spend more on all sorts of expensive stuff(don't worry, just about everyone does) but I still use my flattop every day.

Just to throw a spanner in the works.

I use the Vamo and the SVD on a daily basis and love them both. Haven't tried the SID though so can't comment. I guess it's just a case of different strokes for different folks. Having said that, I am getting more into mechs now, for work use - a bit more pocket friendly.

Ok.. so I pulled the trigger on the SID, and just got the e-mail from Health Cabin that it has shipped.... and now the wait begins...
the question is.. how long?
I'd like to have the batteries bought and charged before it gets here, anyone have any idea how long it takes via the slow boat from china to arrive in FL ?

You can get 4 X the Panasonics from Amazon for $23. These get a lot of love on the forums and I use them in my Vamo with no issues. Amazon.com: 4pcs Panasonic CGR18650CH 3.6 Volt Li-ion Battery 2250 mAh: Everything Else
You'll need a good charger too, I just started using the nitecore i2 http://www.amazon.com/Nitecore-i2-Intellicharge-Charger-Battery/dp/B0096U26QQ/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1374636759&sr=8-3&keywords=nitecore+charger

These batteries are a great option too if you are going to go the mechanical route - 30 amp https://www.fasttech.com/p/1315400

You can't go wrong with any of them really. But I am kind of a vamo guy myself

To the OP, you should get a few different sizes in batteries. The 18650's do last longer in your device, but also take longer to charge. They will make your device bigger too. Get some 18350's too and 18500's (if the SID will take them). That way you don't have to take a light saber to vape on in public.
