Quick build on the@aethertech Orchid. Nothing crazy at all. Simplicity on these tanks are best. Yes you are looking at a low .3ohm build on this badboy. I bored out the stock outer holes to a 7/64 and the two inner holes to 3/32 (I can go one more bigger on both). The channels on these keep up using an iTEO wick. This is def the kayfun/fogger V4 killer I have been waiting for. You chasers out there this is probably what you are searching for. No need to drip cause this thing blows clouds! Dual 24g 7/64 I.D 7wrap

Hey Brother, insane looking build! Curious on the wicking and heat issue though.

Have you had any problems with leaking due to flooding with your wicking like that? (My kfl gets cranky if I don't wick at least slightly into the channels.)

Also, not that you would want to, but how does it do with leaking if you run just a single coil on that deck?

One more question, how does the Orchid do with the heat down at .3ohms?

Keep the functional art coming Brother!

No issues wicking on the orchid with a thick iteo wick over the channels. This one pictures had one channel leaking it was the first "trial" build to guage just how much wick I needed.

For a single coil I would either just cover one side of the channels or run all 4 channels. I get what you are saying its hard with a single coil. So I would probably just block one side of the channels.

The orchid gets hot at .3 but I have been running it that way for one week now. And I take big hits. I cool it of course but the insulator has been holding up!

Thanks man cool little montage video.
I have a question about the dual straight through is the positive wire going through middle of coil to line it up right, I really want to try and build one

deedupdex, just wanted to say how much I enjoy checking out your builds. My hands shake so I am pretty good with single or dual coils, not so much with anything more. I may never be able to duplicate, or even come close, to any of yours but they are a pleasure to see.

Thank you for dropping by and saying hi! No worries as i may never be able to duplicate yours aswell! Post some pics here brotha Id love to see them. I like looking at different builds as they have a certain signature to their builder!!!

Quad staggered "Radial" build on the 454 Big Block RDA by kryptonitetanks (Kryptonite Vapor) courtesy of epikvape 24g 3/32 I.D 5 wrap on the upper coils and 1/8 I.D 5wrap on staggered offset bottom coils. This is the fun part of the testing as I get to slap anything I want into the rda!!! "Radial" comes from an aircraft engine. What better to slap it on a 454 Big Block rda. It's a bit cramped especially with the big 1/8 I.D coils in between but it worked out well. Airflow is not bad as I tried to leave spaces in between thus the only way to wick it was like this to let airflow through. Ramp time from cold static was about 2 seconds with a fully charged vtc4.
My go to testing daily build on the 454 was a dual vertical side by side (parallel) @ around .16ohms. I had other ideas for this dripper but I just had to do a radial engine looking first. Remember to vape safe, learn and master the safety precautions and encourage proper vape etiquette! Thanks vapefam have a great weekend! OK, first... insane build and wicking! Can we get a quick diagram on how you stacked the coils in that animal? And how at the coils touching the outside of the drip well without shorting (or is there an insulating ring on the inside of the outer wall... brainstorm *legendary * lol)

Second, I found your link problem with the video... if you look at the link, you double-quoted "http://" (as in, didn't clear the whole text box before pasting the link) no worries Brother, the download link is perfect.

Third, I gotta ask... can we see a cloud from this .16 monster?

Dex, thank you so much for the inspiration and coil pron! Awesome stuff here, man. I can see myself trying some new things in the very near future... just need to find some neg extension wire so I can start playing around a bit! Keep up the innovation and vape happy!!
