Hey there newbie,

Hello from another newbie. I just started vaping this week - day 2 of no cigarettes. I found my thirst increase these past few days, and I have made sure to have water/juice near at hand. I don't know if anyone else has experienced this - I had a bought of nausea the first morning after I started vaping. Is this a normal feeling?

From one newbie to another.

For me it was a pretty major issue, because I have never been much of a water drinker to start with. I always had something to drink in hand, just never water, coffee, tea, pop, where my standards.

Couple things that helped me drink more water. One bf gave me a very nice over priced water bottle, ok I admit it I love the thing, and because I knew how much he paid for it I damned sure was gonna use it. The other thing I did was I got some water flavor drops from Capella. Much cheaper than flavored waters at the store, I could mix what I wanted, and they don't use all the food coloring some places use.

I bought a nice water filer for my kitchen sink when I switched. Wonder if I should calculate the cost of that into my break even. :p But these days at my comfy vape station I keep whatever beverage I might be drinking (beer or the like) and a big glass of ice water. I refill either as they go empty. At work I'm always drinking water because I have to talk a lot to guests, so that I like to keep my mouth moist so I don't misspeak or anything. Annunciation is a big thing for me, as is speech in general. (I hate the word "um" in all forms and fashion) So I do everything in my power to keep my voice good. When I started at Disney I was in an almost nonstop spieling role (Jungle Cruise if anyone is familiar with it) so I learned early on how to stay hydrated for voice and general health. :)

This is probably more of detoxing thing than a vaping thing. A burning cigarette gave your body thousands of chemicals that you're no longer getting. I went through that and a killer headache for a few days and mornings were the worst for the nausea.

I get drymouth when I go for hours without a drink being a lazy bum on the couch chain vaping. If I make sure I drink periodically I'm fine. Only problems I have is every now and then my Clearomizer will get flooded and the fluid will heat up and splash back and burn my tongue. No fun but I vape on through it.
