Dekang and steeping?

Dekang usually doesn't benifit from steeping. Now it you had one that tasted medaciny/alcholy, it MIGHT benifit from breathing (sitting with cap off) for a day.
Much of the time the juices we buy are in our hands within 1 week of being mixed. Steeping is just allowing time for the flavors to fully mix, blend, spread out. Dekang is usually several weeks (months?) old by the time we get it, so its already "pre-steeped, so to speek.
Then agien, it couldn't hurt.
