Deleting a unused blog catagory

[State O' Flux]

I was creating "categories" for my blog pages... because I discovered I could.

This was my first mistake.

Wrote one... clicked OK, then wrote another I liked better, without realizing they are, seemingly, chiseled in stone.

Anyone have a path to deleting the first, unwanted category?

Hmmm. Not seeing an option for users to delete 'em. Which one do you want "whacked" and I'll go do the dirty deed.

Edited to add - I made a slight change in the permissions. See if you can delete the category now.

Hi retired,

What I see is that the "blog tools: browse entries by month" has been moved from the top right side to the bottom center, as has the "categories"... but I'm afraid I don't see a way to delete the offending category - "Ohm's law - applications".

I can highlight it, I can left click it and go nowhere... but that's about the extent of options.

Thanks for tryin' though. If you could "whack" it... I'll stop making categories, promise.

In the upper right corner, there should be a "Customize Blog" link. You'll find the option to delete categories there.

You still aren't "full screen". I can tell as you aren't getting the full menu.

This is what you should see. You'll most likely need to do it from a desktop, as the responsive design doesn't appear to give you the option on smaller screen sizes.

I found it! Your "full screen" comment gave me a thought, so I zoomed out 3 clicks, and by George... there it is!
