deleting old conversations (PM's)

I couldn't start a new conversation because my Inbox was full. (I was able to upgrade to Supporting Member and got a bigger Inbox). But how do I delete old PM's?

Check the box on the left side of the conversation title and select "Leave Conversation"

ah thanks, retired1! I saw that but had no idea that "leave" meant "delete"!
