Deleting Picture's posted?

I've been asked twice now how we can delete picture's and gif's posted in closed threads from our settings
There doesn't seem to be an option for this, any advice?

If it's an image posted via a URL from an image hosting site you need to delete the image from your hosting site.

If it's an image you decided to "host locally" and it's stored on ECF you need to go to: Settings > My Settings > Miscellaneous > Attachments and delete the images from there. If you have used the image(s) for more than one post, deleting the image will remove it from all your posts.

Yes, but there is no "delete" box available for picture's posted in closed threads

Those need to be deleted by an admin. We can delete all images associated with an account, or we can delete backwards from a specific date. What we won't do is go in and check every single image to see if it's associated with a closed thread.
