Delivery by Drone??????

Anyone else get the donkey slow ... drone shipments when it says "free with this $ purchase". They sit on it for a week, or send it by donkey, take your pick. Sneaky amazon trying to make us all do prime. No fair.

I think its scarey. Robots are great for production but at the rate we are going there will be less work to go around than there is now! The migrant workes are in for a rude awakening. In a few years the under payed will be replaced my machines in the not to distant future.
It will be here eventually. As for economic feasibility? I believe it can and will work out for Amazon. I mean I am sure they have a bunch of financial analysts take a look at the numbers to determine if there is money to be made or saved by doing this. There are a lot of logistical and real life hurdles to overcome, but this is at least 4 years out. But if a billion dollar company wants to make it happen, it most likely will and can happen.
how much do you suppose a 30minute shipment by drone would cost in shipping charges?

you and I both know they'll charge far more than it COSTS for that service.
Amazon charges 80 a year for Prime. Unlimited free 2nd day shipping for a year. So I would think they would charge somewhere in that ballpark.
Or get dressed if you don't care about the camera. Haha

I can certainly build one for you as long as your within 15 miles of your favorite vape store. But the cost probably wouldn't be in your vape gear budget. My wife doesn't like for me to talk about the money invested in the drones but she doesn't complain either.
I want one of them newfangled star trek mochines to make what I want on the spot. Patience is a virtue but nobody ever claimed I had any of that.

Did you hear about the guys that used one to smuggle 2 pounds of rolled up tobacco into a penitentiary yard.....I think it would be big business just to let the inmates buy disposable ecigs in there commissary.....lol they built a 400.00 plus copter to get it taken by the police and got arrested for smuggling stinkys into a heavily secured prison, nice one guys! I went on Amazon and the drone kit they used cost a pretty penny.
