Dented battery question

I was taking my AW IMR 18650 out of my Provari yesterday and noticed that the side of the battery has a small dent in it. The skin is not broken, but there is a small noticeable dent. I have no idea how it got there and I was using it regularly. I never noticed it until yesterday. It's been working and charging fine but I'm a little concerned using it. Has this ever happened to anyone? Is this dangerous? Should I trash it? Any advise is much appreciated. Thanks.

Yeah i never trust deformed batteries its not worth the risk to me.

Agree with Renolizzie. It might be safe, but I wouldn't risk it.
PS. Don't throw in the trash, recycle.

There should be a battery disposal site near you, they will recover all that nasty stuff and make them safer

yeah its no good. Just mail it to me and I will recycle it in my mod... But does a small dent really make that big of difference?
