Dented Battery

Hey all,

I've had my VAMO v2 for a while now, and I've gotten rid of a couple of batteries because they've had dents like this:



Has anyone else experienced this? Are batteries like this safe to use, or should I dispose of them? The battery pictured is an AW IMR 18650 2000mAh.

I have a V2 and both Panasonic and Efest 18650s and both have similar dents, apparently from the spring compressing against the bottom of the battery. I haven't noticed any degradation in performance and notice no difference when charging. Given that it's at the bottom of the battery, the stack of cells that make it up, I'm not really concerned.
