Hi All,

I am Darren from Wisconsin, my friends call me Derwood. I have been vaping (this go around) for about 6 months. I have progressed from subohm tanks, to subohm tanks with rbas, to RDA/RDTA/RTAs, to making my own coils (26ga parallel wrap Kanthol), to mixing my own e-juice, from regulated mods to mechs, to squonker and back to requlated...all in that 6 months. I'm a sufferer of GAS...Gear acquisition syndrome (other wise known as Shinyitus), and according to my wife, I have enough "Vape S&*%" I have come to rest on 2 setups that I enjoy...1. Dead Rabbit RTA sitting on a Smok Mag 225 and 2) Drop Dead RDA on a Pulse BF squonk box.

I progressed to building and squonking at a ridiculously fast pace as well, within a few months I was building because the quality control on drop in coils annoyed me.

There's a lot of good info on here, just ask.
Oh, and "look what I won honey" will only work a certain amount of times when you secretly buy new gear!

Welcome to ECF! I buy all my mods in either black or silver when possible. Himself can’t tell one kind from another . New mod? Nope, just swapped out what I’m using today!

Plenty of rabbit holes here... I started DIY to save $ on juice . Bought RTAs and RDAs to save $ from buying drop-ins..... So far, that saving plan isn’t working out too well!

Well for what drop in coils cost, it doesn't take to add up to a good RDA/RTA, and I'm a bargain shopper, always looking at the clearance pages 1st, lots of deals to be had. Got a peerless RDTA for $15, Avacado genesis for $10, drop dead was $22, pulse sqonk kit for $25!! Honey look I am saving money!!

I vape Unflavored 85% of the time spending my money on flavors instead of mods. 173 and counting with a lot that I have not even tried yet.... I am up here in the Frozen Tundra Area. @Ablonz Just started mixing my own Juice as well, only have 15 flavors so far, but getting ready to order more. Vaping a strawberry banana ice cream of my own making. 100 ml for $.50 is a no brainer!

Another cheesehead here, although I've never worn one.

I had GAS for quite a while but I'm over it now.

I'd be interested in that strawberry banana ice cream recipe if you care to share. I used to buy strawbana from Mtbakervapor but they changed the VG/PG ratios so I can't buy what I want anymore. I tried one recipe that I found that wasn't bad but wasn't great either.
