What might make one hopeful is that both houses of the legislature have majorities of the same party as the governor. When they originally voted in favor of this bill back in March, the governor's sentiments about it were not that well known to the members of his own party that voted in favor. Now that they are, the question will be how many members of his own party are willing to defy his wishes and vote to override his veto?
