So my blu-cig just arrived today. I have to say, despite all the "cancel the order" and "get an eGo".

I don't have any problems with this. Amazing vapor production. Not really any TH which I can handle(my crappy 7-11 e-cig made it extremely uncomfortable to vape with the TH it had)

the PCC it comes with is sleek, and already fully charged.. Two batteries, two attys, 25 cart sampler (5 of each flavor)

My only complaint is the attys are kind of a pain to pull out of the carts to insert into a new one. Also they're already inserted into a blank cart so it took me about 5 min of strain and bending back my fingernails to get the atty out. All in all though, I don't mind it. I'll probably get an eGo or KR808 one day. I don't see it happening anytime soon.

Yeah... the saying used to go something like "send it back get your money back and buy a 510" You aren't cool unless you vape with the same equipment as me..... yada yada yada.....

Throat hit- all liquids are not made the same. When you do get past the sampler that came with it, try MSTS Bakery, or any of a hundred other liquid suppliers. I prefer Ms T's because if I have any questions or concerns, I can text her, call her, email her or leave a message on her forum for her to fix.... whatever. It all depends on the mixture as far as TH or vapor production is concerned. Some liquids give more some less.

Attys: That's an odd one.... I think the suppliers of their attys are not very uniform. Some of the attys are really tight while some are loose and need a piece of paper or other material to tighten the grip on the cartridge. My original two attys were close to the same, I ordered two spares, one tight one loose. I have had to have 3 replaced..... but, free warranty, so it is kind of hard to whine about it. The only problem seems to be they aren't all the same diameter. Close but no cigar. The only way I pull carts off of attys are while they are still connected to the battery. Better Grip!!!

Add-ons: I have tried 510 batts but must have gotten bad ones 'cause all 3 died hard deaths within the first month of use. Nice manual batts but apparently not for me. I have one 510 atty with an aluminum drip tip I use from time to time. I bought a Volcano drip tip for use with the Blu. I have gone almost completely to dripping. I recently added some 510 cartomizers to the mix and like them but trying out the longevity to see how they stack up against the 510 atty and the Blu atty. Besides, these aren't 1 year warranty like Blu.

congrats on your purchase.

i think the blu gets a ton of undue hate. i've never used the blu per se but i do have a volcano (essentially the same model). i never had a problem with it. it works perfectly and the th is great.

my 510 batteries lost 75% of their life in a month, i had 2 hello 016 batteries fry on me (to the tune of $20 each), had a box mod break on me and every 510 atty i have die. yet i've been using the same volcano atty and batteries for almost 2 months now, odd how that works... i stocked up on supplies because i heard how "crappy" these mini's are, now i've got like 8 attys and 3 batteries i haven't even had to touch yet.

i like saving money as much as the next guy but there comes a point where if you pay nothing, you get nothing. your "mid-price" e-cigs ala blu, volcano, revolver, smoketip, etc are the best bet for your money imo. for such awful companies, they certainly have the best warranties in the business (1 year and in the case of smoketip, lifetime) and their products certainly last longer than the cheaper "no names" (in my experience).

people might think i'm silly but i'm only buying name brand products from now on. yea i may have just paid $60 for an 808 kit but i get my batteries replaced for free, i can't say the same for other cheaper suppliers.

Yes, what the above said, leave the atty screwed into the battery when you pull off a cart, comes off every time. My husband and I both have blu's and we like them a LOT.... regardless of the blu-bashin' that goes on. I have 0 nic carts so theres absolutely no TH, however I found the only TH on the blu carts was from the cherry my husband had with medium nic.

Blu however is nortorious for being out of stock on parts, particularly black batteries. Its a good thing to know that Volcanocigs stuff is completely interchangeable with blu, so you can get blank cartridges, other flavors, and batteries over there as well.

I have started to see more and more derivations on the l88b (the type of battery that blu uses) namely volcano, but also vapestik and eko. It probably won't be long until you can get a generic l88b battery or atomizer or what have you from multiple distributors.. also I dunno if you have tried it or not, but blu and 510 have the same battery thread, so you can totally use a 510 cartomizer on your blu battery as long as you don't mind a teeny battery with a big cart on it.. (an ego users worst nightmare i'd imagine)

Why use a 510 carto when you can use a 306 carto. ;)

Same diameter as the l88b.

I'd like to give 'em a try but I did find 510 carto s at less than 3 bucks each. Testing them out for longevity. Help me find a good priced 306 carto and I will test them next!

got a 5 pack of the 306 cartos from eliquidplanet.com they have std and lr for under $2
