I've seen a lot of reviewers adjust their voltage with the Buzz activated. I've always been told not to adjust a pot under load if possible, preserves the life of the pot. Dramatic visuals aside, does it really matter?
I Have been in electronics my whole life and have never heard that ? there is NO problem having it under load in this case ( very low current flowing through the pot ) .
The only case I can think of that that would hold true is when there is a very high current running though a pot but in that case it would most likely fails in use as well !
I maintained electronic equipment in the Air Force for 21 years and whenever we did alignments on circuits we always did it underload. What takes away from the life of the pot is constant adjustments.
