So I decided on a whim to finaly dive in. Smoked a pack every 2 days. I picked up my setup 2 days ago and tried to smoke analog this morning and it tasted gross. So I think its working. Everyone I have recently talked to and the shops I visit are astounded at my first set up. They are like wow you jumped in head first.

SX Mini M Class
Silo Beast
ni200 Vapor Shark

Did I really go in to deep right off the bat? I ended up dropping around $420 cdn on everything. I was worried that the wife would give me hell but she said even if you spent a grand I dont care as long as you are trying to quit.

So today I ended up buying a Maganus b/ Id like to be able to swith eliquid easily.

Am I going OVERBOARD for being 2 days in? LOL

I'd say no. I mean you spent a lot of money, but you got a setup that could last you a very long time unless you just want new stuff later on. You're doing it right in the aspect of getting a good setup first, and it seems to be working for you. A lot of people including myself went from little ego's to mech mods, to regulated to find something that was good. You went straight to something good which in theory if you can keep the spending on mods and such down you'll be good.

I'm jealous of the Silo beast though, that will be my next tank I get. Love the sxmini too, but I just got a hexohm so my vape money is gone for a couple months haha.

Nah as long as you dig it, you made the right call.. Alot of us realized those 'if I only knew then what i do now' moments along the way. The SX is an awesome mod that you should get TONS of use out of for quite awhile, its well worth the money. Alot of us started out with cigalikes or ego batteries, and ended up jumping rapidly up to where we are and now have drawers full of unused stuff. A month after I got my Kanger Evod kit, I had an MVP2. A month after that I got a Smok SID. Couple months after that needed a little more wattage, bought a Vamo V7. 3 months after that I got my 2 Sigelei Minis, and NOW I think Im finally where I want to be. I even went crazy at the beginning of the year, bought 3 Kayfun 4s when they came out and a month later decided I liked dripping so much more thats all I do now and that $60 something worth of Kayfun 4s are just sitting in a drawer.. Same with the Kayfun Lites I bought just a couple months before that.. And the Kanger Protanks I bought just a couple months before those. You couldve done alot worse hehe. ;)

you did horrible! just send it to me to hold on to while you start with cig-a-likes. ;)

I wish I would've bought something nice to begin with, would a saved me a lot of money.
yep seems like you went right to the top. I started with an evod then jumped to an Istick 20 then added a fifty then added a dripper, well two actually then added a kanger sub tank I really lust after a provari and would really like a Reo and maybe temp controlled :) you did great and I like your wife :)

No if you can afford it and are comfortable dropping that much right off the bat you did it right. You will avoid buying all the other crap that doesn't work as well and stop smoking much quicker. Had I just bought a provari or something similar right off the bat I would have quit much sooner and saved money. Good luck.

I wish I had bought the setup I have now instead of wasting close to 500$ on Blus Egos, Vamos, coils, etc.... come to think of it I wasted more on the cheap stuff over the long run than what I am presently vaping on ( which is working quite well for me )

WOW! thanks guys for the comment. I was starting to have buyers remourse but this really helps. @Sir2fyablyNutz the reason I found this forum is because I was looking up tanks that take the Atlantis Coils and found a thread. it looks like there are about 5-6 of them. Then in all my looking around I ended up finding out about RTA tanks that can use Atlantis Coils. ...!!! So now im really screwed LOL

I wasted about 200 bucks on a couple of isticks, some juice i didn't like, the evod 2 that i gree out of within a couple of weeks... So you have skipped that and have a nice device that should last for a long while. I say nicely done :)

I still saved about 400 bucks over smoking the old camels over a year so I don't beat myself up for it at all. Could have easily saved a grand but i wanted to have some spares of everything just in case.

Honestly, given how much i enjoy this, it could be the same cost as smoking and i would still be happy.

So .2 cents from a stranger, you done good let yourself enjoy it :)
