You bet it did! Didn't even realize I was going to! It just happened, and I've learned so much, and can dance and laugh again. Am so happy and just tickled when others find this wonderful alternative.

If you go to "News and Legislation, FDA Regulations, "I think they're crazy....", you will see my story. It's a video! :p

I went for a pack and a half a day to a pack a day down to half a pack down to 5 cigs a day. I have been off completely for the past 2 months and I feel the best I have ever felt. I dont wheeze when I breath I dont cough when I take deep breaths, my allergies are better and I do not snore. An added bonus is a clean car for longer periods of time due to no cigarette ashes.
I rolled my own cigarettes so I do not save any money actually costs more to vape.

I didn't intend to quit smoking, but I picked up a throwaway when I went to buy cigarettes. I never had, or wanted, another cigarette after that. An amazing way to quit a pack a day, 40-year habit!

Same here... smoked on & off for 34 yrs, then stopped when I started vaping. Never looked back!

I discovered e-cigs on a recent trip in NY. I convinced myself that the holiday would motivate me to quit smoking after a 20 hour flight sans nicotine - as I no longer enjoyed smoking at all after 10 years and had been trying to give up with varying success on and off the last two years.
Upon arrival at JFK I asked a stranger for a cigarette whilst waiting for a cab - something I'd never done before - so it was clear I was not going to be stopping the analogues any time soon. Two weeks later I had an ego c-twist and iclear 16 in my hand with some evo dark chocolate juice and have not looked back since.
I had one cigarette left over and thought i'd give that a go and could not get through it - it was disgusting. That was over four weeks ago. My desire to smoke has severely diminished - until today which was the first time the thought of having an analogue ran through my mind. I don't know why - but I am definitely not going back. I got a compliment on how good my skin looked yesterday and the only thing I can attribute that to is stopping cigarettes - coz my diet surely isn't contributing to it!

Its been 5 months now since I touched an analogue cig :) and will never look back, I feel better in myself and man the money savings .

I stopped completely for almost 5years a few years back, but I am on of those as may are who never seem to loose the craving, and all it takes is some problems in your life, or drinking with friends who smoke, to easily slip back into that nasty analogue habit.

However with vaping I don't have that urge for a cig, even when I pass smokers in the street as I used to before, so it feeds what I need and that all analogue smokers need, and that's the Nicotine and you know that's all you need, and as far as I see been proven none carcinogenic.

So the way I looked at it is, I have stopped Smoking but I can still get the only thing that I need from vaping, so its a mind set of how well it works for you :vapor:

yes it seems it has helped... what I find amazing is that on the very first day I tried an e-cig... it was that very same day I didn't have a reg cig. I wish I had discovered these thing years and years ago. I do recall reading about them or seeing them in the news but it never dawned in me to try vaping. I hope with all the recent controversy more people who historically have smoked get a chance to try it to see if it can help them. From the reading I've done on e-cigs they've been around I guess about 10 years now so the gov. health types have had plenty of time to review and research these things. What do they do instead?... ..... about how youth can get hooked on them rather look at the viability over nic gum, nic patches, acupuncture, hypnosis, sewing peoples nose and mouths shut... or anything else

But now I chain vape like crazy, my room gets foggy and I go through multiple batteries a day. I like RDAs it's fun to build coils but I'm not good at it lol. How has vaping treated you guys?

I dont really understand how forums work that much, but Hi! Im new to here.... Ive not had a proper ... for two weeks now thanks to vapeing....love it! I think Ive been overdoing it a bit as Ive had some weird side effects like really aching legs from the knee down and a bit heavy in the chest sometimes, but I am prone to health anxiety so its probably me :) Not even been tempted to smoke once, its great! Why the hell are they trying to ban it, that seems crazy to me.

CONGRATULATIONS! Hopefully your weird side effects will go away as you start feeling better and better. It took me just about two weeks after the switch when I started noticing so many good changes.

It took me some time. But with all the multitude of different hardware out today and with so many vendors and juices it was MUCH easier switching to vaping now then it was a few years ago for me. But I have been analog free for about a year. Once I found a good menthol mix I was able to switch with little trouble and not look back just under a year ago.
In that time I've felt like a new person. Things taste better, I can smell EVERYTHING! I actually LIKE to exercise(most of the time).

My 11 year old has been begging me for a year to try the ecig. I got a pretty bad case of bronchitis in May. It's REALLY humid in. Houston and between the bronchitis and the humidity one day I felt like I couldn't breathe. I thought to myself "If this is anywhere close to how emphysema feels then IM DONE SMOKING!" That was a Thursday. The next day I bought my starter kit and threw the rest of the pack I had left in the trash.

My 11 year old was so proud of me he cried and my 4 year old was jumping up and down and hugging me. :). It solidified my decision. I want to be around to know my grandchildren someday. And my kids want me healthy and alive. I only wish I had had that "lightbulb moment" years ago!!!! I'll never touch another analog cig for the rest of my life.
