Smell improved.
Taste improved.
But unfortunately my hearing has decreased, I don't hear my Wife saying you smell like an ashtray anymore. Weird huh

sense of smell and taste is coming back steadily too. I walked into our phone room at work today and suddenly smelled root beer. I couldn't find the source so I started digging through my pack thinking I'd spilled some root beer e-liquid (it's happened before...sadly). My co-worker pulled an empty can of Barq's out of the trash and showed it to me. Sure enough, that was it.

Oh the sense of taste - that was massively improved when off the fags... though don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing as food tastes so good again!

LOL, I have 2 dogs and 2 cats and I totally understand. It hasn't even been 2 weeks for me and I can tell the difference! Taste too! (Not that I taste my animals) But food tastes different too.

I agree, my taste buds are doing gymnastics over the past 2 weeks. I originally got Cell Block 4 because of the smooth creamy taste/feeling it gave me. Then I started to loose all vapor taste within the first week I stopped analogs. Now my taste is starting to come back and my CB4 is more sweet and almost no creamy. Bummer on that.

The other day I went to the smoking area at work to wait for my roommate to drop off my car. After a couple of minutes I had to get up and go wait somewhere else because I couldn't stand the stink.

I switched to vaping over a year ago and I've not only had smell and taste improve but I feel better, don't wake up coughing my lungs out, and I don't get out of breath so easily either.

It has been a strange transition for me. My taste and sense of smell has not fully returned. What will happen is every so often my sense of smell gets SLAMMED for about 2 seconds with all of the aromas around me then it goes away. I hope that it will get steadily better. I would like to have all of my senses to where they were before.

I can now tell which of my co-workers smokes . I had never noticed it before. Jeez, if I was walking around smelling like that, I have a lot of apologizing to do to my non-smoking co-workers.

Same here - weird smoker I guess. Always hated it when someone else's smoke blew my way, or smelling it in the air or on someone.

Because of this, I never smoked cigarettes inside, and if smoking in the car, I always had the thing hanging out the window and blew the smoke out the window as well. There's nothing more disgusting than the smell of cigarettes in clothing, hair, carpet, etc. Don't know how anyone can smoke indoors.

I am having more profound changes in my taste. Everything seems to be a little spicier or saltier than when I smoked analogs.

Ha!!! I ate Thai food about a week or two after stopping analogs and my poor boyfriend was watching and waiting to see if he was going to have to call 911. I was literally crying while piling food in my mouth, while panting out "I'm alright, honey!!!"

Things that stink that I never smelled before: car exhaust,the garbage disposal,litter box, basket of laundry waiting to be done,wet dogs in from the rain, the meat counter at the grocerie store, the elevator.

On the other side, my patio flowers smell sweet. Coffee in the morning!

I started noticing flavors in food as well, especially salt. I hate to say it, but I didn't realize how bad of a cook some people are now.

I've noticed that my sense of taste has been coming back. Also I really can't stand the smell of tobacco smoke anymore.

A less "odiferous" solution is to put a small bowl of vinegar on the floor of the vehicle overnight. The next day remove the bowl, open the windows to air out the risidual vinegar odor, and you are good to go. I did this with a small truck I sold last year to prepare it for showing and it really did the trick. Sold the truck within two weeks and got 92% of my asking price.

I only stopped smoking a few weeks ago and now i cant stand the smell of cigarette....poor wife i cant believe she put up withe smell for this long it must be love!

hahahhahahha i am amazed at the new smells i am smelling, some good, some bad. people? flowers, fresh air? it all seemed to smell the same with subtle differences. i am now smelling things m non smoking son does not. pretty cool
