The day I started vaping - July 29th, 2013 - I quit analogs!!!
Nearly 20 years ago I DID manage to STOP smoking, cold turkey, for about 3 months...but job stress threw me right back into tobacco - even more than before I stopped....!!:(
Since my first day of vaping I've had absolutely NO DESIRE to return to smoking!! I'm now beginning to get my taste buds back in order;
Amazing how acute your taste can be!!! I'm sipping on a cup of Constant Comment tea right now....and I can actually taste the clove and orange rind again!!:D It probably helps that I'm also vaping some Clove WOW juice as I sip.....!!;)
VAPE ON!! And you'll stay off the "stinkies"!!

I don't feel like I quit anything. Just haven't lit up a analog for 5 months. I'm still inhale clouds of smoke like substance. It just doesn't contain any smoke or tar or saltpeter or..... It does have nicotine and flavor, clean tasting flavor. Damn!!! that's a good vape!! It doesn't burn holes in anything or stink or leave ashes or butts or chase my cats away. My ash tray is now a vape tray with spare tanks and tools and bits of wick trimming and wire and obsolete ego and cig a like batteries in it. My lungs don't hurt any more also food taste better. I have given up Nothing but have gained much.:vapor:

I quit analogs cold turkey back in 2007. I'm turning 32 now and started smoking when I was 14. I've been smoking an analog here and there for the past couple of years on the rare occasions I get time to go out and drink. Started vaping recently and it completely satisfies my craving even when drunk.

Just ordered my first set. I'm gonna be a 0 nic user. I just like the act of smoking itself.

it's definitely made this quit easy for me too! I have no desire and am happy to have found vaping instead. I know some do both, but for me, I just don't have the urge/itch for a cigarette. Gum and patches didn't work well for me. I have been looking for something so long, wish I would have found this sooner.

I got the Halo Triton starter kit last Friday and smoked my last cig Sunday morning. One week without an analog and I very rarely even think about it. I even had a friend offer me a cig this week and I turned it down without an ounce of regret. I tried once before with Blu cigs but they just didn't do it for me. I'm so excited that vaping is working for me!

the longest I ever quit smoking was seven years. quit cold turkey even.

yeah, and I went back,,,,,,,,how dumb was that?

I never stopped wanting it though,,,,,,,,for seven years, I craved cigarettes.

this time, I quit using an E-cig,,,,I've been quit for 15 months, so I guess I have quite a few years to go before I know if it keeps me off longer than cold turkey did,,,,,

but I will say this,,,,,,

I have NEVER craved a cigarette in 15 months,,,,,,,,in fact, they make me sick to my stomach.

THAT to me is a huge win.

I quit smoking for the longest time in my life thanks to Vaping
never going back ! ! !

Our grandson is sensitive to cigarette smoke so it was a no-brainer. Find something else.

E-cigs have worked out very nicely. Pack-and-half a day for 45 years... switched over to e-cigs last month and haven't looked back.

We have an assortment of atomizers, cartomizers, and tanks for use depending on where we are (out/home) or what we're doing (mowing the lawn, computer work, TV watching).

The flavors run the gamut... although as longtime smokers we lean towards the non-sweet, tobacco flavored juices.

We like that you can choose a strength - and find we prefer strong in the morning (24) and nothing (0) at night.

Nice that you can mix it up and don't have to apologize anymore for liking to inhale flavors.

I Loved Smoking. 40+ years of heavy enjoyable smoking. When I was young it was 'cool' everybody did it.
At school, in airports (and airplanes), stores, bars, restaurants, even Doctors IN the hospital.

I am an outdoorsy kinda guy so I didn't/don't care if I smelled like smoke.
Smoking was cheap, simple; pack-o-butts and a book of matches. (.45¢ in a machine and it gave ya a pac of matches too)
Smoking went great with coffee, beer, and even a soda.

Then as I got older and wiser, times where changing, my body
was taking a toll from all the cigarettes. But it was too late - "I Was Addicted" (and I loved it)

I quit once about 15 years ago for 3 months, but for whatever-started again

Tried I guess a "cig-a-like" type like 4-5yrs ago but it was a joke and sat in the junk drawer

June this year my sister was struggling with quitting and brought her couple hundred dollar collection
of discarded e-cigs over to my house. I was into RYO and had about a carton worth left.
During that time I got interested in, then hooked on these E-CIGs...

so after 40+ years I just all of a sudden don't do it anymore
It's weird, like somebody losing a limb maybe, or not being able to drive
or even all teeth pulled and getting a false set...

as I walk out the door I still pat my shirt pocket for my pack of Camels
I have ghost flashes "WHERE'S MY LIGHTER !"
My '.... kit' ash trays still hang on my truck doors

But Yeah, "I don't smoke anymore"
Vaping filled that gap like I never knew could be filled
and replaced an old friend that WAS with me a big part of my life...
