Never smoked cigs, I was a big fan of black and milds and cigars though, and I still enjoy one on occasion (much less frequently now)
Vaping helped me quit cold after 45+ years.

I smoked off and on for almost 30 years (about an equal amount of time as a smoker and a non smoker). During a cross country trip last summer, my mom was smoking disposable ecigs and I was instantly turned on. Tried vaping to cut back on smoking, lo' and behold, after 30 years I've quit smoking! Never planned to quit!
I smoked for 20 years + before picking up a vape. After a divorce and losing my own home, I had to rent a house and the landlord insisted on a non-smoker. So I would occasionally smoke ciggs outside, but still sneaked them because I never wanted them to know I smoked at all- they might assume I was smoking inside as well. So now I can vape inside and it doesn't stink and the landlord doesn't have to know. I did not expect to enjoy it so much, I haven't desired a cigg ever since picking up my setup.
I was a pack a day for almost 10 years. Tried v2's for a few months and went back to analogs. About a month ago I got a cough/congestion thing that I just could not get rid of so I bought a protank 2 setup. Now I'm hooked on vaping and havent smoked a cig since!
Smoked for 32 years, tried everything to quit but couldn't until I started vaping. It's been 18 months since I last had a cigarette.
I work for a railroad company. I had to get off the train, and walk it in 100ºf weather in Jacksonville Fl. Mind you it was 8,500 foot long. On rocks at a 45º angle. Got to the bottom, had 15 cigs in my pack. Decided then I was done. I COULD NOT breathe! Then had to walk back ( train went into emergency, conductor walks to make sure its ok ). Two days later, I handed my wife the same pack. With 15 cigs. And I had purchased a VSX e cig. And fell in love! Now I use a Vamo VV with a Nautilus, and a Helios dripper. Getting a Panzer soon
