Honestly I can't stand the taste of artificial sweeteners. My stepmom used to try and slip me diet soda or artificially sweetened tea or sugar free cookies and candy and crap and try and tell me it was normal but I could always taste the difference. She aparently can't. I don't get it.

Honestly the thing that makes me so anti diet/sugar free anything is probably the marketing around them. All that stuff is marketed asif it'll help you lose weight. Then you get people my my step mom that'll order a 44oz diet soda, with 2 bigmacs a double cheeseburger a super sized fry and a desert and eat it all in one sitting.. And then would complain that she's fat...Where's the logic there? And she's not the only one either, when I was a kid I worked at a fast food resturant and a good 80% of the people that ordered a diet soda would eat that way. I hate people like that.. I really do.. because I see that crap then I see my poor sister. She's 17 .. 6ft tall and she just hit 300lbs :( and she's been eating right, exercising every chance she gets, is always active and does anything she can think of to try and lose weight and just keeps getting heavier. It's not right :(

Lift arm, vape, lower arm..repeat!

Wow Mary. Do we use the same trainer?

I decided several years ago to never diet again and I've been happy with it. Don't even own a scale at present. Funny thing was I lost weight after that decision. Then I was pregnant with number 3 and still losing weight and the OB got mad so I quit the 2 little changes I had instituted.

I don't think I've gained or lost since starting to vape. Have been considering making the changes again though because I actually enjoyed them.

1st one was snacking late. A study at the college showed people who replaced their regular late night snacks with a bowl of cereal, no matter how sugary/chocolaty/marshmellowy or whatever lost weight, even if they changed nothing else. My kids are not big cereal eaters, but I always kept some around for stay-overs. Rather than toss it every so often I thought, heck I'll eat it. We moved and don't have guests at present, so I usually don't buy cereal, but I may have to start because I did kind of enjoy it. Was sort of the kids asleep, guilty pleasure thing.

Around the same time there was something on the news I think about foods that could take 10yrs off your face. One of those things Niluvani mentioned. Green tea. Something like replacing the bulk of your coffee intake with green tea and within 1 yr you could take 10yrs off your face. So I started my day with coffee and halfway through went to green tea. Then I kept going a little more until I stopped buying coffee for the most part and bought green tea instead. Wasn't nearly as big a deal as I thought it would be. I still drank coffee when I went out or on "one of those days."

Hmmm, anyone know if those pyramid tea bags are available as green tea? Kill two birds with one stone.

LOL my coworker sent me an email with a whole bunch of these.. when I saw this one I started laughing so hard I was crying. Figured it'd be a better pic than my old one (A pic of my rotty as a puppy passed out with a beer bottle on his chest and an unlit cig in his mouth) Glad it made you laugh :)
