Can those who've used both a 510 and a Vapor King tell me the difference they experience between them? I've noticed that they're both highly recommended on this forum. I have a JOYE 510 but have never tried a Vapor King.

I now have both, so I can speak from some experience. My 2 cents:
VK Pro's:
Battery life
cartridge life
ease of use (assuming you discard carts)
MUCH better flavor
"Warmer" feel to vapor
Cons:
requires long, slow drags, sometimes you need to "double clutch" the battery
While cartridges can be refilled, the fill tends to get burnt if you let them dry. Reported life ranges from 3 refills to 10 plus.
510 pros:
More vapor, at least on a fresh battery and cartridge fill
experience more like an analog, you can take much quicker hits
you can drip!
Cons:
higher learning curve, messier, more upkeep (unless you are refilling carts on the VK, then it evens up some)
Abysmal battery life
less cartridge capacity (can be offset a bit by doing mods)
In short, If I had started with a VK before my 510, I would have never looked back. I have sent at least 5 people to V4L so far, perfect for people new to vaping. BUT, there IS something about the 510 that keeps me coming back. My "ban" stock now contains supplies for both.

I have both, 510 manual and KR808D-1. it's like comparing apples & oranges- I like them both, they are just different...If I had to choose just one, I would keep my 510.
Allow me to start off by saying that I use a 510 with a 901 cartridge (straw mod) and ECOPure liquid. That combination gives TONS of vapor, great throat hit, and decent flavor.
In its very short life the VK never came remotely close to giving those types of results. Good to excellent flavor.... an "OK" throat hit... but not tons of vapor. In some ways it reminds me of my wife's 901.
That's not to say that the VK isn't incapable of making a lot of vapor (perhaps with ECOpure in a carto refill or..?), but "out of the box" it was lacking IMHO.

The VK/KR808 extracts the most flavour out of juices. This is how I would rate them in terms of flavour :

Thanks to all of you for such comprehensive reviews on the two devices! It looks like they're sort of equal depending on individual preferences. Neither one 'way' outweighs the other. Looks like I might just have to buy a Vapor King to see what everybody's raving about. I do love my 510. Thanks again!
