I just posted this somewhere else, but it may help you also......
I think it comes down to personal preference as to the wattage someone likes their
juice at.
The KGO's seem popular as they are 4 volts w/o load and 3.7 w/ load which also seems to be regulated to maintain the 3.7 output.
The EGO's seem to run around 3.7 w/o load and 3.3 w/ load which produces lower wattage. I did see on Joyes site that they are now (or maybe have been) voltage regulated also @ 3.3.
So using Ohms law w/ a 2.0 ohms carto on both:
KGO= 6.845 watts
EGO= 5.455 watts
Botom line I think, is what is each individuals wattage preference w/ their
juice.
With that being said, you could change the resistance by changing the carto, etc, to meet you 'magic' number.
