Difference between Ni200 28g OR Nickel 28g?

I have 2 spools of TC nickel type wire.

I have used, up until now 28 gauge Ni200 by a no name brand.

The brand making the 28g NICKEL wire is one I use only for Kanathal, so If i can use this the same way I would use Ni200, I would like to.
I am not sure of the difference between just Nickel and Ni200?

I don't really want the technical specs of such as my eyes will glaze over and the brain will become foggy.
I really just need to know IF they are basically the same, and/or is one preferred over the other?

Although they are both 28 gauge, the Ni200 seems a bit thicker/firmer than the straight Nickel wire..
