I've heard of the rubber end caps melting over time. I haven't heard of the delrin or stainless steel ones doing this.
In my humble opinion, the less plastic or rubber you have, the better off you are.

I agree Kay. Any suggestions for tanks with stainless steel end-caps? I asked in another post, if M&P's sub-tank red o-rings hold up better than conventional black rubber ones. I wish M&P offered SS end caps though...

I agree. I have a couple of the mini-subs. They work well, but I don't really like the endcaps. They are really easy to fill with a syringe, but changing the carto out can be a hassle.

I have a SS liquinator which I really like. I got one of the earlier versions though. Many people complained about the early versions because they felt the carto was too slidey in them. I personally like the slidiness of mine though because it makes it super easy to fill and I've never had an issue with leaking. The company seems to have listened to its customer complaints though. I ordered a couple of the aluminum ones later and found them to be much tighter. I'm sure that made a lot of people happy, but in my case it just made them a pain to fill.

I've heard some wonderful things about the Big Daddy and Little Mama tanks. They would definitely be worth looking in to.

Another suggestion, although I hate to mention it here out of fear of a mad rush to get them, is the new SS lavatank which should be up for sale in a week or so. Lavatanks are my favorites, but they can be difficult to get.
