Different kinds of WICK.. Best

I am really looking to experiment with different wicks.. I know cotton balls, organic cotton.. ANyone every try bamboo,, and if so what kind of bamboo or from where etc.. And is raw cotton ok? I heard someone say raw cotton is dangerous.. Than there is the hemp/cotton yarn, and cotton yarn.. and if you should get raw, or organic. whats the best size. etc..

Just would like to hear peoples experiences with what kind of wick they prefer besides organic cotton balls. If anyone uses bamboo i would love to hear ur experiences.

i started with ekowool, it was ok imo but i wasnt too impressed by anything it offers.
readyxwire 3mm works great for me! specially with genesis tanks.
but honestly i keep using cotton in my drippers.

btw with cotton you dont care about the size, youre just tearing whatever you need, and probably while youre building you're gonna tear a little bit more to make it fit perfectly.
