Glad to hear you got them up and running, how do you like them so far?

I like them a lot. So far, the Siren is giving me better flavor with my Mango Lassi e juice, however. I'm going to keep using my favorite juices in the Siren and the Hussar simultaneously to see how each one performs. With the Mango Lassi, the Hussar gives great flavor, but it's a lighter flavor. I don't quite know how to describe it. It's kind of like the difference between a glass of wine and a class of the same wine as a wine spritzer -- still yummie, but lighter.

I think I might be familiar with this procedure, 52. Did they refer to it as a Radiofrequency Ablation? If so, I'm definitely familiar with it.

Sounds like that might be the one DPL, but they just call it "Ablation" when they first told me about it, a couple years ago. Same thing I would guess. Thanks for the info on it, it's more than I had to this point. If I can remember to do so in the future, I'll keep in touch as my situation progresses. (the folks @ Mayo made it sound like Ablation was a perminate fix, at least they didn't go that far into it a couple years ago with me).

Thanks for the tip Bob! didn't reach that far though! Removed the 510 screw and then the insulator just won't come off and doesn't allow me access to the airtube slots to remove it or tighten it. is that the 510 grommet you are talking about.? Tried to poke my 1mm screwdriver to remove the insulator from the diffuser side as well. am afraid that i might actually damage it, hence aborted the operation. Any tips on the same?

All of my 510 grommets on my Siren's had to be pried out from the bottom before I could get my screw driver up in there to tighten the air post. I would put a small pointed tool in the center of the grommet and pry it up, then move the tool to the other side and pry up again, and keep at it till I had enough grommet exposed to grab it with a small pair of needle nose pliers and pull it out. Took me about 15-20 minutes the first time to do, but since then it takes me about 5 minutes to get that grommet out of the bottom of a new Siren.

So I've given up on my Siren 25mm. As much as I love the flavor, just a few things bug me about it. So I gave the Cthulhu mtl rta a try. Blah, not as good as the Siren, and for whatever reason, temp control is giving me problems. Sooooooo.....

I got looking on VaporDNA.com, and noticed this......

Digiflavor Siren Two Post GTA MTL tank - Latest Version

Did Digiflavor come out with a revision on this tank? Any way to find out what revision I've currently got? I don't have issues with it leaking, I've got issues with the top o-ring where the top of the glass sits in there.

Another thing I noticed, on Digiflavor website it says, 'last batch'. Digiflavor and VaporDNA trying to blow out the last few Siren's before a updated model is released???

I called Vapor DNA and they said the Siren is the v1 Siren, but this batch includes the oil film, or, as we call it here, the diffuser. As you probably know, the v1 Siren came with the diffuser as standard equipment everywhere. For whatever reason, the v1 Sirens that Vapor DNA sold previously did not come with the diffuser. They're selling this batch of Sirens at a lower price point, $26.95, too.

Digiflavor is currently testing a new version of the Siren, that sounds very good, but it is not available for sale at this time. If you go backwards a few pages in this thread, you'll find a post by Xvagabondx that shows photos of the new v2 Siren being tested. Those photos make me think I will like the v2, but it also confirms that it is not the v2 that Vapor DNA is selling right now.

Why are you dissatisfied with your Sirens? Is it the seeping and weeping? If that's the issue, you might want to check out Fad's and 52's anti seep fix. I haven't done it but everyone else who has tried it loves it. It involves tightening the pin under the air tube and installing an o-ring at the base of the air hole or positive post. Sorry, I can't remember which it is, but if you go to page 146 of this thread, you'll find photos and posts that will show you how to stop your Siren from seeping.

Thanks for the info on the current v1 Siren.

My current issue isn't really leaking. The issue is how secure the glass the help in the top o-ring, or lack of secure. If I unscrew the build deck, the glass will just fall out. Nothing is keeping the class attached to the top piece. I've tried replacing the o-ring, but no luck. From the factory, the oring was actually stuck to the inside of the glass, such as if it was pressed together. If I rewick this, I'm afraid I would loose all of the juice in the tank due I do. Few other things drives me nuts.

You must have the 25 mm Siren. I've only got the 22 mms, so I am not speaking from personal experience, but several people here had the o-ring stick to the glass on their 25mm Siren. I hope someone else will come along and help you with this issue. Can you unscrew the top cap, drain the juice into a container, and be able to access your build deck without problems?

Yeah it's the 25mm that I've got. Been debating on getting the 22mm, but I think I'm gonna hold off till the Siren v2 comes out. Yeah I can unscrew the top cap, drain the juice, etc. But yeah......What a pain.

Yes! It would be a pain! Did you put a new o-ring in where the glass connects with the top of the tank and it still won't work? I know some here have bought o-rings for the Kanger Subtank Plus made by Iwodevape that worked in their Siren. I don't think the Kanger ones worked but the Iwodevape did. I know you can get these from Fast Tech, but I'm sure they can be found elsewhere as well.

I don't remember reading about anyone else having the specific problem you are having with your Siren, but the odds are good someone on this thread has. Hopefully, someone will come along soon with a fix for you!

I am encouraged by what I hear about the v2, but I'm also worried that I won't like it as well as the v1, so I keep changing my mind about buying other v1 Sirens too.

Do you think that your upper o-ring might be bunched up or off-kilter somehow? I think I'd put it in a bowl in your kitchen sink and squirt water on it while trying to get the o-ring out. Then, I'd try to install a different o-ring.

I don't think so, I've taken it off and it looks fine.

You nailed it JW. You gave @access0denied all the correct pertinent information as it exist today. I would not have remembered all of that myself. Just do a skim and re-read back through this thread @access0denied and you will find plenty of descriptions, posts, and pictures that will help you figure out you're problems with the Siren 25mm, help is scattered throughout this thread, and a lot of it.:thumb:

Thanks 52! I am happy you confirmed the info was correct. I wasn't sure at all and wanted to make sure I wasn't sending Access down the wrong road!

You got that right JW. At one point I was thinking that this thread was doomed to die a quick death, but, we're all still here talking about it. Good, I've got nothing else to do anyway, might as well be here with my friends.
