I cancelled my Hussar order as an alternative and I am going to try the Taifun GT 3. It looks very adjustable on the air flow, might work for me. Downside is the 23mm size. Saw suggested using a heat sink to make it fit on a Pico. Are heat sinks safe to use? I do have one dna mode I can use it on, but if I do like it, the option to make it fit on the Pico would be good. Advice on the heat sink?

I think that the airflow is more (looser) than it is on the Taifun GT-2, which is OK if you like a draw to be a Loose MTL vs a Tight MTL. That's why I didn't get one for myself, I need a Tight MTL draw.

I got my Heat Sinks from FT, and they were made by Kepler. Mine were 22mm diameter, but they make them in 19mm, 22mm, 23mm, 24mm, 25mm, and even 30mm diameters. So what ever you want (prolly a 19mm or a 22mm), here's the link to the FT page FastTech - Gadgets and Electronics
(Iwodevape makes Heat Sinks also, but for you're needs I don't think you would want those, as the whole atomizer fits inside the heat sink, not on top)

They worked good for me (if I remember correctly, they are adjustable, with a screw), but they do add 10mm to 15mm to the overall height of you're Atomizer, and YES, they are safe to use.

Yeah loose MTL or even restricted DL is what I want. Watched a few reviews, will see.

I do hope FogitUp calls us and we get a chance to buy another Siren. I only had 5 more on order, lol

That looks like a good one ian, you'll prolly like it, like the reviewer posted on the page under the specs, Plus, I bet you could sneak in 5ml of juice. On the Siren 25mm the specs say 5ml, but I always get 5.6ml in mine (measured with a 10ml syringe), but that is also dependent on how much wick is below the coil deck, I get more juice in my Lemo V1's than the specs say (and wicking has nothing to do with that), same with my Taifun GT-2's.

About FogItUp getting slammed with orders - IMO, it's entirely possible it was from lurkers on either the Are You Done Stocking Up thread where I first posted they were available there. And could've also been from this one when the info. was first posted that I'd found some. It's happened with other stuff posted on the AYDSU thread before...many times in the past!

Another option besides FogItUp's network of retailers for the Siren 22mm...is Alibaba. I mentioned to Erin that I saw authentic ones on there, complete with the sticker to verify it, but they're only sold in lots of 100. She said that might be a possibility, too, if they're truly authentic...and even the 100 might not be out of line, since so many people had ordered multiples that couldn't get any from them. So...I'm still holding out hope that some might be for sale, at least for the next week or 2 anyway.

I hope you like the Hussar. I am a bit tired of searching myself. Thought I was done. I must say I am pouting about not getting the Siren. I was glad they were courteous enough to call though.

I am not so taken with my Kayfun 5 after using it awhile. Draw is still not loose enough for me and I am not getting flavor out of it. Tried rewicking it with Rayon, still not doing it for me. Probably user error, lol

Not loose enough on the KF5? Funny most KF5 owner complain it's too loose... what kind of coil set up (wire type, gadge and ohms) are you using? As far as the wicking you just need enough to touch the bottom of the deck.. 2.5 ID usually provides a good amount of cotton without too much fuss..

I just received my "Credit Memo" email from Fogitup today from my Siren order that they couldn't fulfill. They seem like a Stand-Up Honest place to do business with. I found mine in my "Junk" email box, I use Hotmail, so others might check their "Junk" box also.

I agree. FogItUp is a good, ethical company.

I got my refund memo too, but I don't think the purchase amount has been credited to my card yet. Some times the card companies take a long time to do that.

I went ahead and purchased the SR V4 from 2FDeal. Will report back on what it is like once I get it. You can buy MTL parts (1.7mm air hole) for it as well but the standard air hole size looks about right for me.

Still waiting on the Fuji to get here. Will report on that as well.

I had forgotten what a nice lil MTL tank it actually is. Certainly an option for the Siren folks that like a tighter draw.

Very nice Riplea! I thought the TF GTIII wasn't supposed to be good for MTL, but I read something on the Stocking up thread that made me think otherwise.
