Diluting 80/20

Morning all,
Just looking for some advice. I have 60 x 10ml bottles of 80/20 ejuice. Problem is, it is clogging up my zlide 0.48 coil. Is there a way around this. Can I dilute to a useable consistency with my coil or is it a lost cause?

Hi,
Is the juice unflavored and zero nicotine?
I get the most clogging from sweet, dark juices.
You can add PG or distilled water (1.5ml per 10ml will give you a 70/30 mix) to the mix to thin it down, but that will reduce the flavor and nicotine content. (if applicable)

The zlide coils supposed to work with up to 70vg juices but from my experience while using the 0.8ohm coils with 70vg juice they couldn't always keep up with chainvaping...
It also depends on the juice thickness and the temperature where u live and all that....also very sweet juices will gunk your coils faster no matter what u do...but in your case 80vg is defenetly tooo thick for the zlide coils..

What I was doing and it was helping is that I was using a needle or very small screw driver and I was scratching the cotton into the holes around the coil to make it fluffy a little bit and that was helping to absorb the juice easier...

U have to do this on a new coil that has dry cotton and be careful not to poke it tooo hard and bend the coil inside or poke a hole into the cotton but just make it more fluffy...
Some used to get a needle and poke holes throught the cotton but I don't like that method...the scratching worked for me good and I wasn't getting dry hits anymore when I did that and made coils last longer...

The juice is flavoured and also 6mg nicotine.
I read somewhere that you could also use vodka. Would that be better or worse?

Haven't used vodka or water but I assume vodka is like distilled water in a sence that it's distilled and in terms of thickness... but I think u must let the alcohol evaporate after u pour it into the juice...or maybe before.

Keep in mind that adding 1ml of pg into the 10ml bottle will give you 11ml of juice that is 72% VG and has maybe 5mg of nic and also reduced flavour...
But if u use water or vodka u must pour much less into a 10ml bottle cause water and vodka are not as thick as pg..
I assume for a 10ml bottle even one drop or maybe 2 drops max I guess?? of water or vodka could be enough to dilute..

Thanks again. Have both, vodka and distilled water so will experiment with a couple of drops each and see what happens.

I usually vape 3mg of nic so that will not be an issue. Flavour loss on the other hand may be.

You can Dilute your e-Liquids using either Vodka or Water. Some even think that adding a Small amount of Water to an e-Liquid can Help the Flavor.

I would do a Test Tank Sized Batch of say 5ml. And to it I would add 5 or 6 Drops of Vodka or Water. Then try that. If it isn't enough, then add a Few More Drops.

And now I think about it with vodka or water u won't lose that much flavour as it u would use 1ml or pg... Nice
