Dimming LEDs on batts

Just curious if others have had this issue. With several of my newest auto batts about halfway through a drag the LED will change from its initial brightnes to about half of that. Needless to say there seems to be a reduction in the power transfered to the carto. A couple have deteriated to the point they only deliver about 1 or 2 seconds of full power before shifting to the reduced output mode.

Hi Davo. I did have this happen ONCE. For me the battery was charged from a PCC or a USB charger....and if I remember correctly, the PCC had already charged two other batteries so I don't know how much charge was left in it.

I drained the battery and then re-charged it with the wall plug. Never happened again.

Hey Davo, you could try taking your auto battery after it's fully charged unscrew it from the recharger, then screw it back in to see if the battery starts to take a charge again.
