Hey guys! I just got back from vacation and there's been ALOT that I've been missing out on in the rebuild-able world! And alot of the new products are WHAT I'VE ALWAYS BEEN WAITING FOR, as I'm sure most of you have as well.
Directed airflow is making a big comeback, atty's like the notorious kayfun, Magma, Yaeliq etc. are starting to pop out all over the place, and me likes that. My problem is that most under-airflow/directed-airflow atty's haven't had the biggest airflow/capability, and for those of us that like big vapor, or multiple coils etc., it's been slim pickin's. But here are some awesome atty's that I think will pave the way for the future of rebuildables (I'm sure all of you have seen them, but I'm really excited to get one in my hands!

These atty's all have 2 fairly revolutionary traits about them; they all hold ALOT of juice, and they all have intelligently directed airflow!
This for me is basically what I consider the only 2 missing traits in the PERFECT TOPPER, ever since I've drilled the wicking channels and airflow on my old kayfun, I figured that if a rebuildable could 1) Hold a generous amount of juice (so that dripping isn't a "nuisance" during long activities) and 2) Improve vapor/flavor with it's airflow (better than a simple "hole" in front of your coils), than you'd have something close to the perfect vaping device. (Also of course satisfying both the "cloud chasers","flavor junkies", and everything in between being the main idea.)
Before these, my current favorite AMODUS RDA satisfied most of that checklist, having a massive 4ml capacity (almost that of a kayfun), amazing cloud chasing capability (best I've had so far actually), and a fairly reduced chamber creating flavor that more than satisfies me. It's airflow is fairly standard, but at least I was able to drill it to my hearts content.
The HOBO RDA, is almost identical to the Asmodus, however some awesome changes were made to it; it was given airflow on the top cap (as well as the body), directed downward to aid in vapor production/air turbulence, and the dual positive post is made of conductive copper! It still has the same amazing 4ml capacity, and although I do have to drip every now and then, it lasts about as much as a Kayfun (if I take it easy on the clouds ), plus it's easier to refill than a tank as a bonus. The HOBO is my current favorite (because it's the only one on the list I own I should mention).
The 528 Custom Vape's Kayfun, is pretty familiar to me, because as I'd mentioned, I've drilled a Kayfun's channels and airflow wider myself, and believe me, it's a WHOLE NEW ANIMAL. Mine is the Tobeco BIG clone, so mine has somewhere around a 11ml capacity, but it's basically a standard dripper, with a tank and better flavor! The most notable difference is the relatively HUGE vapor that comes from the Kayfun's! It's pretty awesome to have a tank blow clouds with the best of them, truly the best of both worlds. I believe these are a little pricey, but it's awesome that you don't have to butcher a kayfun yourself like I did, I believe you can mail in your own for 65$, you can only contact them on FaceBook.

And in a nutshell, it's a well-made Kayfun, with a healthier airflow, and a dual positive post, basically allowing you to run quad coils in a 5ml tank! Again I don't own this, but it looks to be promising, being able to have more than a single coil, and have larger airflow has to be an improvement on the original rockstar. If they make a 26650 version (they do make a clone), I'm going to be all over it!
The IHYBRID (Veritas makers) 26650! Dog Bone RDA, is something I'm surprised to not have seen anything on ECF about! From the makers of the famous Veritas RDA, the Dog Bone RDA is basically the VERITAS X2!
The only reason I've never really gone for the Veritas is because my OCD likes there to be even, plentiful, airflow over each coil, and although the Veritas has decently large airholes, I didn't like the idea of 2 coils "sharing" one airflow hole (I know I'm weird). These drippers have a unique design where the airflow comes in from the outer edges, through to the BACK of the coil, and that's just awesome, because it basically turns your dripper into a really cozy "kiln" for your coil, and makes some of the best flavor ever (from what I've heard). Now, with the Dog Bone I can have 1 coil evenly centered on the airflow, one per side (or 2 if I feel jiggy), and as a plus IT'S 30MM! I'm addicted to 26650 drippers now, I don't know what it is, I think it's the big juice capacity, room for my 20ga Gplat Haywire, and all around big vapor capability, but I LOVE that I basically have a big Veritas x2 . I also love to build vertical coils (if I'm able to), and the Dog Bone/Veritas are made for that, so there's another plus. A unique ability for this RDA is that since you have 2 separated compartments now, you can MIX FLAVORS! I think this is really cool personally, I can't wait to make my favorite flavor (Strawberries and Cream/Custard), but mixing the best Strawberry I can find, with the best Custard I can find! I'm already saving up for this bad-boy, I'm so excited to try it out!
(Somewhat related to this thread, I recently discovered (yeah I'm late to the party) that the famous Origen RDA now has a TANK VERSION! Instead of being two awesome drip wells, it's 2 awesome slots that lead to a tank beneath! So if you like the Origen, there's a genni cousin for ya! Check out the Origen 5.0: Genuine Origen Atomizer 5.0ml)

Are there any other drippers that are similar to these that you have experience with? I'd love to hear any feedback on these awesome innovations! Whether it's negative, positive, an idea for a dripper, whatever, type away! An idea I've always had would be a 26650 Magma, with larger airflow, and a huge tank below the drip wells (you could even give it a dual positive post, and a large cyclops style airflow canal ). THIS would be the perfect atty to me personally, I love everything about the Magma besides it's relatively small airflow (small to me anyway).
I'd love to hear from you fine ladies and gents! What do you think!?
