I just picked up an hcigar VT25 with the dna 25 board. I bought it for power mode only as I have no interest in TC. My issue is that earlier today while vaping with my Saucecode and 1.8 ohm Triton coil I started to notice it tasting really nasty. I looked at the screen and it was firing the 1.8 ohm coil in TC mode for some reason. It was bouncing back and forth from power to TC mode the rest of the day. First of all I am curious as to why it is doing this and also is there a way to disable TC mode completely? I see that you can adjust the temp past 600f to off but wasn't sure if that actually turns it off completely or not. Appreciate any help I can get as I would rather not have to send this back already. Thanks.

Any idea why it would go into TC mode at random on a 1.8 ohm kanthal coil though?
It should auto-detect the coil material and set the mode accordingly. If it doesn't, or does so inconsistently then the mod could be faulty. It could also be a bad connection in the 510 or the coil causing the software to become confused or indecisive.
