Disapointed need advice

hello. I have been vaping 4 weeks now and off analogs for 3 weeks. I have a m401 (as far as I know) I have been very happy with it up until a week ago when I lost all my taste for the vapor (was told this was normal and it would pass) well it hasn't, it is a little better now but not much.

Anyway, went to a party last night and my brother has a smoke51 so I tried it out, It was a WOW moment, I could taste it and the throat hit was great. Now I realize that it is one of the subpar PV's (from what I have read here) but it was so much better than what I have.

I had intended to upgrade to an ego but I am kind of scared to get anything and just be let down again. will the ego be as good with the wow factor as the smoke51 was? or should I look at something else.

I really thought that the m401 was a decent model, I just don't want to make the same mistake and really cant afford to keep upgrading to the next best.

I don't know what I am really asking or what help can even be offered, I just do not want to go back to analogs and affraid that if I cant fix this that I will, I am really tempted to at the moment.

All i'm gonna say is... if you thought the piece of crap Smoke51 was good, then you've got another thing coming when you try one of the best models lol.

My best advice would be to either get an 808 if you want a cig sized PV, or an eGo / Riva for a bigger battery mod, some cartomizers, couple of atomizers, and some good juice, you can't get better than that for a clean start.

LOL Thanks for that, I just didnt want to really put it down too much when I really don't know much about it. heh. just really want to make sure I get something that won't let me down like my current one has, I am really leaning towards the ego..

I agree, my eGo got me off analogs and has been going like a champ for 2 months now with no trouble. I like to drip so I haven't got any advice on carts or cartos but I am sure someone else will help you with that, but I do advice picking up a drip tip, they are inexpensive and give it a try.

Like Banjo said, get an Ego and it will be a giant step up for you. Get some good LR attys (510s) and you will be in hog heaven.

I drip at home and use cartomizers when out. Once you start dripping, the cartomizers are kinda like "whatever" but they work. If you really want to get blown away, get a Cisco spec LR 510 atty and a drip tip..... And it will be a WOW moment.

I am currently filling the little cartridge in the mouthpiece ? mostly for when I am not at home. and dripping and dipping at home.

That is a good p/t kit but if you order other eGo batteries you will also need to order the charger for them because the charger for this one is just for the p/t.

Likely the different you got from your brothers smoke51 was due to the juice being used. Their really shouldn't be that much difference between it and yours otherwise. That being said the Ego or Riva will be a huge step up from either....as others have said.

Also you just being off analogs for 3 weeks you're going to go through changes. You're taste buds will level out over time though.

I don't know how many analogs you smoked, but for me (about 15 a day) I spent a few bucks on things I won't use. If I spent that money on the analogs, the money would be nothing but stinky ash and butts right now. My wife and I were spending around $200 per month before, and are spending around $200 per month now. After we find the sweet spot, monthly expenses will go down. Both of us have smoked away, and would have continued to smoke away a portion of our paychecks for over 20 years; but, now, that will soon be a decreasing expense.

510's got me off of analogs close to 15 months ago. I'm currently using and Ego with either a Low Resistance (LR) 510 atty or 306 catromizer and love the experience.

Good for you, I know you will be very happy with your purchase. If you order juice from anywhere, look and see if they have 510 drip tips, I know FreedomSmokeUSA sells them but I am sure there are others.

If you're on a budget, wait for the $29.99 Riva to come back in stock at Liberty Flights, it's practically the same thing as an eGo at half the price. That deal that they're putting on has basically given everybody the chance to have a bigger battery mod who couldn't afford / didn't wanna dish out for the eGo. If you want a bigger battery mod, that's the way to go for sure.

U will like your ego...and with it being 510 fittings, you can find your supplies anywhere. I can tell you that even with the ego, you will want to go to an even larger battery 510 model. I have a 510 MOD now that lasts me 2 days of heavy vape between charges, and I wished I would have had it in the very beginning. I only use my "regular" looking 510s when I'm out and about in a social situations. Good luck!
