I like um,
Except for their not being on a 510 base (and I want 3.2 ohms of course). @ 4.5 volts they taste burnt, But at 4 volts they are good. And kinda like the CE2s they do taste better the 2nd or 3rd day. Someone said they took the tea bag out ( I don't know what they have against the tea bag) but they said it worked well. And someone else wants to mod them with a SS tube. Go figure, we spent all that time taking SS tubes off of CE2s.

The Vortex I'm finding work pretty well, I find using them at lower Voltages is better kind of like less is more for me, running them on a regular Riva 901 650mAh Batt is a perfect flavor/vapor combo for me. I put one on my Provari and tried them at all different ranges from low to high and from the lowest setting 3.3 up to 4v seems to be the best range for flavor with the 3.3 being best for flavor and the 4v giving much more vapor but a bit of a sacrifice on the flavor at that point but still very good, above the 4v flavor lacks. I have to agree with Gummy that the 3-3.2 ohm would probably be excellent in the mid 4's 4v-4.8v. All in all I'm happy with these out of the gate and I'm pretty sure they will only get better as they give us choice of ohm and especially make them in bigger tubes

I have had some leaking and went back to the ce2s.
They were not leaking at the plastic tube but from the bottom of the threads.
When the juice wicks down to the coil there is no way to tell ti to stop wicking. If you are hitting it heavy it's OK but after sitting for a few hours it runs out the threads where it should be getting the air from.

That settles it, then. I'll just stay with the C-E2's and not mess with the Vortex.

The theory is great. I liked the taste (other than it needs to be 510 & 3.2 ohms) They were so easy to re-fill that I didn't use a tank (even tho I modded one for my tank with in the 1st 10 mins). I just added some juice to a Visine bottle that I use to use for dripping and filled as needed. however, the small leaking just became a problem. Some were worse than others.

yup I ditched them, not a quality vape to me after using them for a while compared to others, now been using the dual coils for the last 2-3 days and there interesting but taste is lacking with these too. I'm an Atty guy and enjoy my Iken HV-510 3.5 ohm Attys at 6v now this is a great vape all the way around, I've been running these for months with a bottom feeder and there is no better vape I have found as of yet than this set up, bar none its the best for ME !
