Just received my order from ave, consists of 30ml of bobas and gj, plus a 18ml bottle of raf. Just to say is bobas and gj is a bit too sweet for me, a little overwhelming. Yet there's no disappointment in rafs perfect sweetness and very mellow. Maybe I got my hopes way high to fall in love with the famous twin juices. Any input?

Thanks
James

Interesting.. what equipment are you using? That affects how the juice will taste. Could be your atomizer/cartomizer is burning the different flavors in the juice differently, just musing. Also, did you have a sweet juice in your atty before you tried either of those?

To me, BB and GJ aren't that sweet on an io6 at almost any voltage. Obviously my taste buds are different though, so its kind of irrelevant.

I'd like to point out that I read a lot of people saying the first time they tried either of those juices they didn't necessary like it, and then came to love it later on after vaping it more.

Other than that maybe let it sit for a week and see if its changing. I would recommend vaping them a little more here and there just to say for sure that you don't like the flavor. Though its of course inevitable that some people somewhere will not like certain flavors.

I agree with Raf, it is quite tasty. A much truer "tobacco" juice than either BB or GJ, but I think the tobacco undertones in BB and GJ are extremely secondary to the flavor of the juice, and just provide a nice base for the tastier ingredients. The Raf flavor is actually stuck in my atomizer now as I'm trying to have my taste buds experiment with BB and GJ with a flavor bump, but I'm still getting that nutty/smooth Raf taste lol.

To conclude....sorry you were disappointed with those two juices. At least you don't have to worry about the buzz over them anymore lol. On the other hand, if you found an "all day vape" out of 3 flavors, I'd say you came out ahead :)

Using reo grand with fresh boge lr carto @. 3..7v.. Yea the exhale and scent is way too overwhelming. Maybe I'll let it steep... (cap on or off???) lol.

I would say cap off only because I wouldn't want dust etc. getting into my juice and the air will ruin the nicotine faster.

I am actually surprised you managed to get either of those juices into a cartomizer lol, You must have some great absorbing polyfill. I tried getting Havana gold in a carto once and it took like an hour. That makes sense though, the one time I tried BB/GJ in a carto or ce2/tank I had the same experience; Muted flavors, but still got a sweet exhale.

While many people manage to do it successfully, and might yell at me for saying so, but IMHO 100% VG juices aren't meant for most cartomizers, as its just too thick to properly wick and absorb etc. If you ever try it in an atomizer you will find the taste is like a different juice entirely.

Yea I'll order some attys and see what happens.. Does i06 hit like a 2.0??? I'm a I'll sensitive to major th lol

The io6 is a fantastic atomizer, best on the market. It produces nice vapor, TH, and close to if not the best flavor. The TH mainly comes from the juice/nic level

However if you wanted a cooler vape I would suggest the 2.5 ohm io6, which is slightly cooler than your LR boge on your 3.7 device, but the fact that the atomizer is a powerhouse would make up for that. The flavor might be a little weaker or sweeter at that wattage than if it were hotter, but better tasting than a cartomizer for sure.

Or you could try the 1.8 ohm io6 which would be slightly hotter than your carto, but still a very average amount of power. They have a 1.5 ohm also for warmer vapes, so I would stay away from that one at 3.7 volts.

Cartos are great for convenience and not having to re-drip, I still consider using them if I'm on the road etc.. If you want to fully experience the flavor of juices an atomizer won't steer you wrong. The 510 might be more user-friendly if you've never used an atomizer before, unless your a quick learner or willing to blow a few bucks on fried attys lol

The first time I vaped Boba's I thought I burnt the polyfill in my DCC, but about 5 seconds later the Boba's taste started to settle in my mouth and I have absolutely loved it ever since.

Boba's doesn't taste sweet to me at all, Gorilla kind of does but that might just be the banana flavor.

I vape primarily on DCC in a DCC tank at 5.5v, the taste, vapor, and TH have been the best experience for me by far compared to dripping. That is just my opinion though, ymmv.

Give the GJ some time. I hated it when I first tried it. It tasted like overpowering mushy banana baby food. After a week I tried it again and something clicked. Now I Loooooove the stuff! I use standard Boge 2.0 cartos as well as the Ego-T Tank Type A. Both work great, but I get more flavor out of the carto, go figure.
