Okay this may sound a little crazy so bear with me. I recently bought an old black Provape-1 on the classifieds for a very cheap price. Currently my girlfriend is using it(and loves it btw), but we are about to pull the trigger and buy her a new Black Provari.
What I want to do is turn the Provape-1 into a 5v mod. There is no warranty since it's old and changed hands, and I'm not concerned with the warranty anyways. I know that both end caps unscrew, but what is the trick to getting the black part that contains the circuit out?
For those curious I intend to use a ptn04050C booster in place of the original circuit. When finished it will be posted in the modders forum.
