I was in the car last night and heard an advertisement on one of the largest radio stations here is D.C. for an E-cig.

It was a company I have never heard of (not SE) and If I heard it correctly they didn't even have a website, just a phone number to call. Worst part about it, they were directly selling it as a stop smoking aid. Even involved the "family" which were so happy daddy quit smoking.

Going to look up the station to see if I can find the advertisement.

The same thing happened to me many months ago Michelle...The product I heard advertised was called "Smoker's Savior".
Luckily, after I heard the commercial, I went online and started researching. Eventually, my search brought me here.

I hope others that hear the ads do research before commiting to purchase.

I got sucked into the "smoke assassin" aka "smoke Assist" aka Smoke savior" etc. I think they are all the same company and definitely running a scam with their free $130.00 value ecig "just pay 9.95 shipping and handling" then they keep billing you about $70 a month for 20 carts. They are a little 8084 type model but wouldn't even vape as they were defective anyways but they would end me replacements which never happened and on and on.... I finally got all my money back but I certainly thank the company because it led me to research ecigs and ultimately led me to this forum where after some reading bout a couple types of real PV's that got me off of analogs on day one! their carts are supposed to be 0 nic, so as stated that may be how they're getting away with advertising the way they do. but again I do thank them for leading me to this fantastic forum and community!

I was just thinking tonight that the whole industry sounds "too good to be true" - when in fact, a sizable chunk of it _is_ true and "all that and a bag of chips". Truly remarkable invention, IMHO.

Those "other guys" are just a tax on people that pull the trigger without doing their homework. ;) Sorry some of you got taxed!

Lots of people discover this forum by first getting ripped off. Always gonna be somebody trying to make a buck off a sucker. I bought an SE for my first e-cig after all. I got my sucker stamp.

Got my sucker stamp from them as well. On the bright side I got enough vapor to see the potential. I then began investigating as to whether or not there was a better way and thankfully found the forum!

yeah, saw my little brother yesterday (he flew in from out of state for an interview) and we'd chatted about me vaping a bit and he told me he was looking at a blu. i was like NOooooOOOoooOoOOOOoo. obv hooked him up with v4l info.

his main concern was whether or not he'd be able to 'feel' taking a drag... screwed a fresh cuban cigar carto on a freshly charged XL and told him to take a good, big drag.  (he felt it. ;) )
