DIY automatic e-pipe parts

I'm sure this is covered, somewhere in the mods forum, but be damned if I can find it. I know, most folks seem to prefer the handy little buttons, but I'm just not up to having to remember it, yet... Maybe some day... Most e-pipes and e-cigs seem to be about flash and it's just NOT my thing. Might as well wear

I'd like to find a source for the guts, for an automatic e-pipe, without having to buy and gut one.

Already found a method to make flavored glycerin from regular pipe tobacco. NOT making e-liquid, just flavored glycerine. Nicotine is a water-soluble alkaloid, whereas aromatics are oil based, so a low-heat infusion process, in VG will get ye-olde-pipe-tobacco flavors, from commercial pipe-tobacco.

I have no real idea what all is in the guts. just see what I can see online. Reliable DIY kits with instructions? If I'm gonna switch, I might as well do it the way I like it, rather than try to change a half-century of living... Guess you could say I'm set in my ways.

Dude, how hard can it be to press one button?? Here's my Smok Epipe. The big honkin' button on the top fires it. I've paired it with a Kanger Mini protankII tank with a Protank II base and a Smok bent drip tip. Closest thing to a regular pipe at about a $50 pricetag. Clcik on the pic to enlarge.

There are of course other places to find what you are looking for......plug in "Advanced Search" at the top, right of this page...type in what you are looking for.......lots of info there......

A couple of thoughts in closing.....If your going to go AUTO...get yourself a hand full of switch's for when they get juiced up, and build your pipe, so you can remove the bad switch.....

Also, You have your 5 posts.....Go on down to MODEL SPECIFIC DISCUSSION>E-PIPE MODELS and ask any other questions you have about pipes.......Hope this is of some help.....

Not looking to make some glitzy, high-profile, look-at-me, I'm so cool pipe. Figure, rather than a tank, I should use something like a cartomizer with a wick. Not an everyday pipe smoker, just for once in a while. Adding buttons may not be a problem for most, but it's one more thing I'd have to hold on to, and I have other issues, besides merely looking for an easy-to-use option. I've had a few strokes, a number of mini-strokes and don't always have full use of my smoking hand. Not looking for sympathy, looking for an easy work-around that fits my needs.
